From the forward tees, it plays short, and a driver is not needed. You will be challenged from the back tees, but on some holes it's risk-reward, so you may wish to keep the big dog in the bag. I don't believe there is a flat putt on this course, so watch your approach shot. They do have a putting green and a driving range. The 19th hole is fuly stocked with an ajoinng dinng room. As a bonus, there are plenty post post-golf venues in Marble Falls for post-round activities.

Which was OK as others were pretty accessible. | On a few holes, a driver is not required, and on others, a long drive buys you nothing. If you are going to play over the Xmas break the greens are fast and it is best to keep your ball below the hole. The course is in good shape (for the winter), the price is right, and the folks are friendly. I will definitely return in the spring. A strong 4 stars!

You have to think your way around this track as the short holes tempt you to take out the big stick when a 5-wood or long iron places you in position A for a birdie. This course has some elevation, so club selection is key on many of your second shots. The greens are fast and run true, which I like. Make sure you visit the snack bar. The people working here are nice, the food is excellent, especially the burgers. During this visit, we had a front-row seat at the Bluebonnet Airshow, which was happening next door at the Burnet Municipal Airport. One nit, you will not finish your round in four and a half hours.
