What an amazing course to play on for a single 9-hole course. You have the option to play just 9 or…read moreplay it twice for a full 18. What stood out about this course it wasn't just an average course. They have a nice game room with pool tables, golf simulator, golden tee, and a nice bar setup within their clubhouse. They even have a food truck right outside the club house next to their golf simulator room. When you walk into pay just go to the right and you will see their golf shop. Plenty of swag gear and other necessities that most golf clubs don't carry in my opinion. For course play, hole one is not only a challenge being you have to battle your way up "Hamburger Hill" with slice to a bit left and a slightly inclined putting green. You have to watch out for the driving range to the right. My buddy and I had a good time playing, but man it was cold when we arrived here and we were the first couple of players to start the day. The golf carts come with two USB type A plugs to keep your electronic devices charged. They also use a TagMarshall for GPS. Which in my opinion it is one of the best GPS devices I have utilized on a golf cart. This course has a lot of scenic holes with plenty of wildlife aka deer roaming the course. They are pretty cool to watch as they watch you play tis course. The staff here are friendly and welcoming when you arrive. Depending on where you are located in the Austin area it can be a bit of a drive; however, the drive is very scenic. From Pflugerville it was about a 55 minute drive. I highly recommend trying to this course out if you're tired playing the usual courses in the Austin area. Also, they offer military discount through military tee times.

There are benches to rest throughout the course as well as bathrooms. I've heard alot of great things about John Houck designed courses and this one totally lives up to the reputation. The course has beginner/recreational tees as well as pro level tees. I consider myself a beginner and I opted to play the blue for the challenge it was awesome! My wife and I had just enough energy to play 9 holes. After that we had some pizza. The service was prompt and the pizza was great. Do yourself a favor and go play this course. Thank You to the owners for putting an amazing course on their property and sharing with the community.

I grew up in the area and wanted to see how much it has changed. We were on our way back to San Angelo after a camping trip and my husband noticed the pickleball courts so we turned around to check it out. They had 4 courts, a playground, corn hole, lots of places to sit/ lounge and a few different options for snacks/food. They had a coffee truck, juice truck, snow cone truck, pizza truck (with 2 sizes- which is nice if you have kids and don't want a huge pizza for them), and then some sea containers set up under a pavilion (one with Mythic Barbecue, one with ice cream & snacks, and one that was a full bar). They had a stage for music events but they were adding on to it while we were there so you could tell it was still a fairly new establishment. The facility/park was very clean and not overly crowded. The restrooms were air conditioned which was a surprise! We did have to wait a few minutes for our rainbow snow cone but the weather was nice so it wasn't a big deal. The lady there said they had only been there a couple weeks. The Barbecue was actually much better than I expected. They had a sandwich called The Rick with a spicy coleslaw and it was so good! We also had the Mags & Cheese (macaroni with Brisket) and it was tasty as well. The "market" had four shriveled up small tables with jelly and typical tent crafts, the "live music" was your usual plaid shirt guy playing whiny depressing country songs on an acoustic guitar way down in a dip, the guests were all middle aged advertisements for the GAP who brought all the kids like a massive play date. The only food truck that was open was an overpriced pizza shop that had an hour wait. Where is the life in Marble Falls?? No energy or buzz or REAL entertainment during the evenings or nights. We want to have FUN and dance and mingle with 20-30 somethings and get our blood moving. Get this place hopping!

The one noticeable thing that stands out here is the outdoor gym equipment next to the basketball hoop. There's about a half acre of green space directly behind the park and you can see the lake in the near distance through the trees. This green space seems to be used as an impromptu softball field. It should be noted that there is no boat ramp here, nor any public bathrooms. It does have a small rocky parking lot for about 10 cars.
