During my appointment, my stylist did not tone my hair even when I asked her to. This is probably because she fried my hair during the bleaching process and it was too damaged to tone. She neglected to tell me about the damage to my hair and the amount that probably came out when she washed the bleach out, however it became very clear to me because my hair has been falling out wash by wash. I am STILL in shock. I was informed that the policy had been in place for a couple years. Go here again…read more I have gotten my brows done for over 15 years now, and on Thursday, I decided to come here (for the third time) because they're 5 min from my house. They've always been extremely rough with my face... So after the first time of getting my eyebrows threaded here... I asked to do waxing. (Because I had recently gotten my eyebrows waxed, for the first time, and they were super gentle! So I assumed it was a universal thing... to be gentle). But BOY was I wrong. The second time I was here, the lady had successfully talked me out of getting my eyebrows waxed, because she assured me that she would be extra gentle to my face. She did a decent job. I would go see her again, maybe. But THIS time, however, when I came in, the lady (in all grey) asked what service I would like, and when I said I would like my eyebrows waxed, she didn't say another word to me after motioning towards her chair... And the next thing I know... She completely TORE OFF the skin under my eyebrows. She was running her mouth the whole time, putting hot wax on my face and ripping it off without any noticeable care... It hurt so bad. But I didn't realize she was tearing off my skin until she put the alcohol on my face and it BURNEDDD!! It burned so bad tears swelled up in my eyes. But since I asked for waxing, I just assumed that maybe this was on me. Then she took to threading, because apparently she didn't wax my brows right all the way correctly, so she started threading my brows, and told me that she needed to fix a few areas... so what was I to do? Tell her no? So I had to sit there while she ALSO threaded me. Lmfao 10/10 worst experience ever! It wasn't till I woke up the next day... That I saw there were red gashes above my eyelids, (under my eyebrows,) where the bruises were healing, where she completely tore off my skin. And they hurt!!! Like touching them hurt!! (I'm talking at least 19hrs later!) I took pictures of them. So if anyone would like them. I can put my email (ahsbrent@gmail.com) and you can reach out to me. But I'm way too embarrassed to put them on this page publicly, because she really tore me up. Lastly they charge you extra to use card instead of cash and I think it's an easy way to intentionally upcharge EVERYONE who comes in... Because like, who brings cash? So 10/10 I would NEVER go here. (And since that's a double negative.) I would 0/10 go here. So if they muff you up, that's on you.

However, I had booked a bridal hair and makeup trial for my upcoming wedding with Jennifer, who is the owner of the salon. I am so grateful I did a trial before the day of my wedding. This definitely would have ruined the day. I had a consultation a couple of weeks ago, and showed my photos, made a plan, and everything went very well. Jennifer was very friendly and assured me that she would be able to do the looks I asked for without a problem. When it comes to my hair, I have very naturally curly hair, and brought in clip-ins that she had approved during the consultation. Not everyone is able to work with my hair type, and that's understandable, but I had a consultation for this reason and she assured me it was not an issue. We tried many different styles that just weren't great, but that's okay. My main concern was the makeup. I asked for full coverage, airbrush, and gave her a reference photo. I am aware that nothing will be exactly like the inspiration photo, but what I received with was absolutely terrible. When I tried to ask for something a little closer the photo or fuller coverage, I was told that it's just because I have bad skin and acne....I left in tears. No coverage, no airbrush, extremely splotchy application, no color match, unfortunately nothing about it was right at all. It looked like dollar store makeup done by a child. I hate to be so harsh, but when you see the photos, you'll understand. After this experience, I will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone. I also decided to go home and try out the look myself with absolutely no experience and I think the difference in quality speaks for itself...
