We are so pleased with the results! The floor was very worn and had spots that needed repair, with previous patches that used different widths and wood types. Santeliz Hardwood recommended a stain color that the different wood types blend to look completely natural. The areas that they repaired are flawless. We'll definitely use them again for other areas! It's almost one year later and the floor still looks fantastic!

I wanted to recognize Jarod and Jodi at B & B Carpet One in Chanhassen for their outstanding…read moresupport and expertise during our recent carpet purchase for our home. We had a stairway runner and carpet throughout our upstairs that were worn from years of use, including traffic from three kids. Throughout the carpet selection process at Carpet One, Jodi's guidance made it easy for us to choose the perfect carpet--her knowledge and patience truly made a difference. For the stairway runner, we had a specific design in mind and eventually found it online at a different merchant. We truly appreciated Jarod's flexibility and willingness to have their installers handle the stair runner installation along with the carpet they sold us. After selecting the carpet, we realized we needed refinishing on the stained and painted surfaces of our stairway before runner installation. Jarod found a skilled painter to handle that part of the work. Once the painting and staining were completed, their installation crew--Sam and Corey--arrived and meticulously installed both the carpet and runner. We are genuinely grateful for their attention to detail, professionalism, and personable approach. Their focus on perfection throughout the installation was evident, and working with them was a pleasure. In the end, everything looks fantastic, and we could not be happier with the results. Thank you for going above and beyond to help us. We sincerely appreciate the expertise and dedication of everyone involved. We would recommend B & B Carpet One to anyone considering re-flooring their home. Thank you all for making our home feel new again.

We selected this place because it was local. Mistake! They were helpful in the selection process…read more The installers come in - never even introduce theirselves. They do the job. Their goal as stated to me is to "clean up at least 90% of the post installation mess". We had 0% cleaned up. Carpet threads all over the house, staples all over the floors. We ran the vacuum at least 10x to get all of the debris picked up. Shortly after install we notice visible seams. A large one with an unfinished area in the main room. Another very visible seam in the bedroom. They did send a repair specialist to attempt to fix the seam. After being told they would "re-stretch" and fix, he was at the house for 10 minutes. Threw 2 staples down and hit the seem with a carpet hammer. Off he went. So much for the re-stretch. So much for the mentioned independent inspection. It looks the same. Not to mention, coming 1:45min late for the repair appointment. Also, the man I spoke to "Mike" with horrific customer service speaking to me like I was his child. Lecturing me how to justify the incompetence of the installers. We try to support local. AWFUL all around ! Embarrassing.

Josh was our salesperson, and was tireless, knowledgeable, and patient in working out different options and educating us about the pros and cons. We did some comparison shopping. BCO's good pricing, their responsiveness and promptness, and them doing their own work (not subcontracting) were compelling, so we went with them. After we ordered the work, BCO was able to put the job on schedule within days. The BCO installers accidentally installed the vinyl plank in the wrong area. This error also led to some other issues. When BCO realized this, it immediately acknowledged its error and responsibility, and worked to correct as soon as it could. The BCO installers were back the next day to start addressing the issues, and Eric and another employee even visited the job after their workdays, just to evaluate and determine solutions. Matt (general manager) got involved at the end to make sure that we were satisfied with the resolution. (We were!) However careful a company is, some type of error will happen sometime to that company - that's a fact of life. How the company - and the people at the company - respond sets the great ones apart. And Bloomington Carpet One, through its actions and the actions of its employees, clearly distinguishes itself as a great company!

They gave me an estimate and then said they had made a mistake and raised the price $1100. I contacted their CEO and made her aware of the problem. Years ago, we seamed three different carpet remnants together to create an interesting abstract rug. She showed us a sample of beautiful large carpet remnant that was being stored downstairs. It was perfect, a great color, and the price was amazing! Now, we're using the remnant for two bedrooms. This leaked behind our fridge and into our wood floors for weeks before the water level was high enough to puddle. We had a specific wood type that we were hoping to replicate. Thankfully Unique Wood Floors carried that same wood type. After my initial call, their project manager Jim contacted us to schedule a visit. We had our estimate less than a day after our visit. We stopped by their showroom in St. Paul and spoke with Michael who helped us view the flooring we were interested in. We placed our order for our flooring. Within a few weeks we were contacted for our installation. Our installer was named Al. More like super Al! Al tore out our old flooring which looked to be a very tough job. He then installed our new floor. As Al was wrapping up, first he swept the floor, then he was back down on his hand and knees with a towel wiping our floor clean. Wow. Talk about commitment. We were also impressed that Jim stopped out to check on the progress, then again after the install was completed to make sure everything looked good. Not only did it look good, we felt it looked great! I have to admit, I am very particular about how things look and our floor really looks great. They had the new wood flooring delivered a couple weeks prior to install so the wood could acclimate, which some of the other companies don't do. We are so happy with the finished product and glad we went with DRW. We did have numerous other estimates; some of which were higher, many similar and a couple slightly lower then DRW but felt most comfortable with the knowledge and experience DRW had with hard wood flooring. Additionally, the owner of DRW, along with his trusted crew, were just the best. They work together as a team, all were hard working, professional, courteous, efficient, stayed on schedule and were easy to work with. We highly recommend this company for any flooring needs you have.
