I went here because it's not only nearby but I also had a Groupon deal for a Brazilian wax. Sandra was very nice and professional. I had to reschedule the first time due to my hairs not being long enough. I rescheduled again the second time because I still think it wasn't ready. Then I finally made it to my third appointment. Sandra didn't give me a hard time about all the reschedules which I appreciate. She was quick and efficient, using hard wax (which I very much prefer over soft). This was only my second place getting a Brazilian done. Only discrepancy was that she missed a couple long hairs. The first place I went to in Georgia (Lady Bees) was super efficient at getting EVERYTHING so I'm comparing the two. Unique Wax has been THE best wax experience I have had! I was in need to find a new wax lady and my cousin referred me to Sandra, Sandra is the best. first off she's very sweet and welcoming. She shows me to the room (very cute set up) gives me instructions on what to do and gave me a moment to get ready. Once she arrived and we stared my Brazilian wax I was very scared at first I was expecting to have a painful experience since I haven't had a wax in almost over 2 months but it was completely the opposite! 3 stars for experience, ZERO stars for my brazilian results. First heard about Unique Wax from groupon. I was able to find the place fairly easily, however I did not like that the business was on the second floor of an apartment that was mixed in with residential living and they did not have any signage on the door so I took a leap of faith by entering, so one star off there. I was greeted by a male, who quickly asked if I was here for a brazilian and then went off to find Sandra. Sandra was very sweet and did make me feel comfortable. But I have several complaints about the room. Firstly, I was asked to lay with by lady bits towards the door, so when she entered or left, I could have been exposed, and heaven forbid if someone had entered without announcing themselves!!! Secondly, the room smelt like cheap incense which instantly gave me a pounding headache. So i took off another star for that. Overall experience was just ok. That is until i got home... Upon showering at home i realized she had not waxed the entire middle!!! UM WHAT?AND we had been discussed that I wanted a FULL brazilian, no hair left. I had never thought to check while there, I had never had complete patches of hair left! I would have called back to get it touched up but I was going on vacation the next day so I would not have been able to go back in. Now a week later, back from vacation, I am making an appointment with a new place because the hair has almost grown in everywhere... she didn't even pull it out! she just ripped the hair exposed hair off the top! I thought groupon was supposed to save me money. Now I have to pay for another company to fix up this botched brazilian.
