The treatment was supposed to include two sessions: the initial procedure and a follow-up touch-up after six months. Unfortunately, I never received the follow-up appointment. I reached out to Kechia, and she assured me she would coordinate with my technician to complete the process. However, that was nearly a year ago, and I have not heard back from her since. I'm very disappointed with how things ended--despite the promising start, the lack of follow-through and communication has been frustrating.

Kechia recommended nanoblading to cover this previous work and I was happy to take her recommendation. Everyone always wants to know about the pain level. I have a number of regular body art tattoos and I do not think that cosmetic tattooing feels the same. The needle feels thinner and scratchier, almost like a cat is bored and lackadaisically scratching at your eyebrows. Luckily the numbing agent they use after the first pass made it so I didn't feel a thing. Overall, I think it's very tolerable, and the results are worth it. During my touch up appointment we ended up having to go a bit darker in terms of color because the pesky red from my old cosmetic tattoos was fighting to show through. Luckily the touch up did the trick and those suckers are finally covered! Hooray! I had several friends and coworkers who noticed something was different right away and asked what kind of makeup I was using to get my brows so perfect. ;) My new brows were worth every penny. I can't recommend Kechia and Brows & Co enough!

When I pointed this out, the technician repeatedly told me that everyone's face is shaped differently. While I understand that perfectly symmetrical brows aren't natural, I specifically came to a professional to help shape and balance my eyebrows in a way that suits my face. It was difficult trying to explain what I was seeing. I felt like my concerns were not really being acknowledged, and I had to keep advocating for adjustments. The technician did map out the brows before starting, but the imbalance was still noticeable to me. Eventually, she did make changes, but the response I received was "whatever makes you happy," which felt dismissive rather than collaborative. By that point I was already quite frustrated because I felt I had to push hard just to be heard. I believe communication and listening to the client are very important in a service like microblading. I wanted to trust the artist, but I also expected my concerns about balance to be taken seriously.
