My family has had FIVE vehicles tinted by Pro-Tinting dating back to when they operated out of their Elizabeth location. Because of those positive experiences, I drove an hour and a half to their Newark shop expecting them to stand behind the lifetime warranty they advertised on their carbon tint. I arrived with the original invoice that THEIR company emailed to me in 2021. Instead of honoring their warranty, the new owner accused me of forging my receipt because it listed the Newark address. Apparently, in his mind, an emailed invoice generated by his own company was somehow fake. I repeatedly asked how I could possibly forge an email that was sent directly to me by Pro-Tinting, but rather than offering any logical explanation, he simply dismissed everything I said. To make matters worse, the owner communicated almost entirely through what appeared to be a high school-aged boy acting as a translator. Trying to resolve a warranty issue through a teenager while being accused of fraud was both unprofessional and insulting. Their solution? They refused to honor the lifetime warranty and then offered to "discount" the repair by $20, leaving me to pay $80. After driving three hours round-trip and being falsely accused of forging my own invoice, that offer was laughable. A warranty is only as good as the company willing to honor it. Based on my experience, Pro-Tinting's "lifetime warranty" meant absolutely nothing. They lost a customer who had trusted them with five vehicles, and they'll never get another dollar from me. Save yourself the time, the money, and the frustration. There are plenty of tint shops that actually stand behind their work and treat customers with respect.

Whether or not the items were considered "valuable" is irrelevant -- stealing is stealing. I never received a receipt or confirmation of services, and the lack of professionalism was clear from the start. This is beyond disrespectful and completely untrustworthy behavior. I do not condone theft in any form, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. Do not trust them with your vehicle. I will never return.

I had to knocked down 1 star when I got into my vehicle and did a quick inspection to make sure everything was up to par before I drove away. For starters the inside of my passenger door jam had numerous scratch marks from top to bottom. Almost as if the tint was cut from in the inside. Also noticed the same thing but not as severe on my drivers side door jam and very minimal scratches on both passenger door jams. I know for a fact these marks were not there previously because this is a brand new car, fresh off the lot. I spoke to the gentlemen in the front reception area about my concerns and he said he would grab a manager and kept saying how "crazy" it was that all those marks were on there. Another gentleman comes out which im assuming installed the tints to see the damage I was referring to. This gentlemen kept saying how he "wasn't sure how it happened" and "how he's never seen anything like it before" and insisted on bringing the squeegee he uses for application to show me it wasn't his squeegee tool. The moment he took a few strokes and hit the side window area numerous times with force proves that in fact was the culperate. Also, had to point out a huge bubble on the passenger side that almost looked like a huge scratch which they fixed while I was standing there with no questions asked. Another gentlemen came out which I believe is the manager to take a look at my complaints. The manager did apologize many times, was very sympathetic and was very pleasant the entire time. He even went out to call up a local autobody in the area that he works with to get them to fix the damages. Had to knock down another half a star because no one ever followed up with me as far as my appointment with the autobody as mentioned by the manager. Even though they stressed that they had all my information inside and not to worry someone would call me. They never notified the autobody my name or a number I could be reached either, which didn't sit well with me and made my decision not to go to this autobody. Had to knock off another half star because after 4 days I still see bubbles on my back and side windows. These bubbles don't look like they will be coming out because I can see a particle underneath the bubble and when you gently pass your finger over each bubble you can feel there is something there. I am however grateful they were able to accommodate me on a Saturday morning as a walkin since they were completely booked that day and upcoming days. Which I feel explains why I had such a lousey experience, it may have been rushed because I wasn't scheduled. My suggestion to anyone who still decides to come here, maybe put something up on door jam area for protection. Blue tape or some type of rubber guard that can absorb the impact of when they squeegee out the liquid from the tint. Good luck!
