Graveside was recommended to me by multiple friends and family for my first tattoo…read more My artist Jordan was patient, kind and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be back.

Prior to the pandemic I had decided I wanted to get boxing gloves on my shoulder. Having not gotten a tattoo in two decades and having sworn I would never again, I just like that changed my mind. She had come to this location twice to get a couple tattoos of her own over the past couple years and thought it would make a great birthday gift to come together for an appointment. It turned out to be on of the best gifts. The shop is in a strip mall. The waiting area leave little to be desired. My BFF made our appointments on a Saturday at 4pm. She said the artist though very nice and does good work has a tendency to run late. When she said late I never really imagined what was in store for us. The shop closes at 6 on Saturday's and we were still in the waiting room "waiting" for our appointment to begin. About 2ish hours in she said we could come back. I was a ball of nerves. The last time I got a tattoo I fainted, twice. The first time I got a tattoo I also fainted, twice. Both times I had to be brought back with smelling salts. I don't recommend. She heard that and took great care to get some gummy bears in me, have cold water available, a fan pointed at me and had me lay down as opposed to seated as with my other experiences. It worked. Still hurt like heck but I did not faint. In the end after being there for basically a whole day, I was pleased with the artist Aime, the results of the tattoo and the price was fair. I wasn't really happy with how long it took to get us back there and to complete the process, but that is about the only bad thing I can say. Since the first time I have been back to see Aime 2x's, for two more tattoos after swearing them off for 20 years. Funny thing is I'm a little obsessed now... But the waiting is not a fluke. Clear your calendar and pack a lunch. You WILL be here all day. Otherwise very much recommend

My friends and distant relatives would be surprised to learn I know a little something about…read moretattoos. Even more so that I have one. My age and chosen profession would suggest the art of tattooing would hold no interest for me. Nothing would be further from the truth! And the truth is I have tremendous respect for the craft and those who practice it. It has been my good fortune to experience the unique styles and techniques of a few local practitioners all of whom are expert in their own right. But it is the work of Mr Mike Kelly of DLG Studios that prompts this review. First of all he is truly a gifted artist in oil painting and captures the exact likeness of his subject. He has the ability to translate that into an amazing portrait on the human canvas. But his skill is not limited to facial reproductions. He in fact does ingenious work in taking a concept or idea and transposing it into reality. He takes your imagination and brings it to life. Or he can simply take a picture image and place it where you want it. I would suggest looking at his portfolio to decide for yourself. Or stop by and meet him. You'll find him to be warm and welcoming. His colleague Michalina is talented and color minded. And the gallery is clean and well organized. But when you decide to patronize DLG reserve a time right away. He gets booked well in advance. In the world of Tattoo its important to go where your health is protected, your wealth not diminished and your satisfaction assured. You probably have an outcome in mind and dont appreciate unfulfilled expectations. I suggest to you DLG is that kind of place. A place that takes you seriously. Novice or veteran of multiple sessions. You receive equal respect. Mr Kelly is first and foremost a decent and kind man. The father of a son to whom he wishes to leave a good name. To me thats important in choosing from a list of very talented artists in this area. The truth is I went in search of a tattoo and found a person I genuinely like and admire. His work is something you will feel proud to be seen displaying. It has the power to change impressions for the good.

Well they were wrong I went in wanting a quote and left with a botched tattoo. He misspelled words and it was uneven and he didn't put the ink in my skin at enough in so it came right back out. I had to spend money at another shop in the area to get it fixed. I WOULD NOT COME HERE. I wouldn't trust them. They don't train their apprentices correctly it seems.
