So bad. You get your blood drawn in a dirty back room, they lose your blood and you don't get results, they call you whenever they feel like it instead of scheduling time or transferring you when you call, they forget to contact you about procedures so you end up having to reschedule. They overcharge you because the doctor leaves the room and they say the consultation went long. Worse than the public system by a long shot. read more

I thought WTF but I said, 'I'm not paying that' and left. The receptionist's turn to be astonished. The Pierrefonds branch charged $250 for a three minute call, after I waited for hours for a scheduled 15 minute phone consultation. I was told a refund would be processed, but have given up after two months of chasing them. The office staff are trained to rake in the money. They are really nice at first , but that's over once they have charged you. The medical staff don't care and have no respect for their clients. Two words: STAY AWAY. read more

UnionMD - The first waiting room. Second after screening downstairs - Walk-in Clinics Near Me - Montreal, Quebec

Made an appointment at 1pm October 1st, 2025, TMR location to see a GP. Was asked to pay in advance of seeing the Dr. Was seen by the Dr. at 1:45. For a medicare clinic this is very acceptable, for a $250 Private Care consultation this is unacceptable, should be 5-10min. wait MAX. Receptionist did not tell me before taking my credit card that appointments were running 45min. late and made no effort to see if another Dr. was available nor did she apologize. During the consultation the Dr. asked me to see the nurse for a 3min. test then come back to his office. When I came back he had taken another patient and I had to wait 15-20 minutes more. I went to the pharmacy to fill the prescription. The Pharmacist told me there was a mistake in one of the prescriptions, it didn't make sense and she had to call the Dr. She said the medication should be a single dose and the Dr. said I should take it for 30 days! When she called the Dr. she was told to send a fax request to speak to the Dr. which is ridiculous. By the time she faxed and he called back I was waiting 1 hour. The service was worse than a medicare clinic, I wasted $270. There's more but my review is getting long. I will not return and do not recommend. Unfortunately there is no zero star rating. read more

English below. Le 31 octobre 2023, j'avais un rendez-vous avec Dre Christina Tadros à UnionMD, Clinique médicale privée à Saint-Jean-sur Richelieu. J'ai payé 250 $ pour absolument rien! En effet, je voulais changer un médicament qui ne me convenait pas. Avant la consultation, j'ai demandé l'avis de pharmaciens et j'ai aussi fait un test génétique pour aider dans le nouveau choix. Elle m'a alors donné un seul (1) choix en me disant qu'elle connait bien ce médicament et que ce dernier ne donne pas d'effets secondaires. J'ai répondu que c'est un vieux médicament (1993), et il est notoire, selon les pharmaciens, qu'il donne beaucoup d'effets secondaires, et que j'ai même des personnes dans ma famille proche qui l'ont déjà testé avec beaucoup d'effets secondaires et un grand défi lors du sevrage. Je lui ai suggéré d'autres options (selon mes pharmaciens et mes tests génétiques). Il s'agissait des médicaments plus récents avec beaucoup moins d'effets secondaires. Elle m'a rappelé que c'est elle le médecin et elle ne voulait rien savoir de mes suggestions. Elle n'a pas non plus essayé de trouver une solution ou un compromis pour m'aider. Pire encore, elle m'a même accusé que j'ai un agenda caché. Je précise que les médicaments suggérés de ma part ne faisaient pas partie d'une quelconque liste de médicaments contrôlés ni d'antidouleurs (pain killer). Je me suis senti dans ce cabinet comme un junkie ou un dealer de drogue de rue !!! J'avais l'impression d'être devant un médecin qui ne croit pas du tout à l'alliance thérapeutique Médecin-Patient et que son arsenal thérapeutique est très limité et n'est pas à jour. Sachant qu'aujourd'hui il y a plusieurs nouvelles molécules approuvées par Santé Canada pour nous aider. Honnêtement, j'hésite entre l'incompétence ou le manque de déontologie (p. ex., obligation de moyens, même s'il n'y a pas l'obligation de résultat). À la fin de la consultation, elle m'a mis à la porte sans ordonnance ni solution !!!! J'ai décidé de signaler ce cas au collège des médecins pour m'éclairer dans cet incident. I suggested other options to her (according to my pharmacists and my genetic testing). These are newer medications with far fewer side effects. She reminded me that she is the doctor and she did not want to hear anything about my suggestions or even tried to collaborate to find a solution or a compromise to help me. Worst, she even accused me that I have come with a hidden agenda. I would like to point out that the medication that I suggested were not part of any controlled medications list or a pain killer. I felt like I'm a junky or a street drug dealer in her office! I had the impression of being in front of a person who does not believe at all in the Doctor-Patient therapeutic alliance, that her therapeutic arsenal is very limited and not up to date. Knowing that there are several new molecules available and approved by Health Canada to help us. Honestly, I'm hesitating between incompetence or lack of deontology (i.e., an obligation of means, even if there is no obligation of results). At the end of the consultation, she kicked me out without a prescription or solution!!!! I decided to report this case to the collège des Médecins du Québec to help me clarify out this event. read more

Do not waste your money here. If I could give 0 stars, I would as they don't even deserve the 1. Staff is cold, rude, doesn't care. Doctor was 1.5 hrs late for our appt, at which time we chose to leave. Nobody even cared that we were leaving, didn't apologize and looked at us as though we were the ones in the wrong. read more

This private clinic is exceptionally clean and well run. The epitome of how the public healthcare system would be in an ideal world. Dr Tardif is very friendly and down to earth, all records are electronic (again how it should be everywhere). Receptionists are fluently bilingual and very courteous. Can seem on the expensive side but you get for what you pay for. read more

All the doctor tells me is that my problems are irrelevant because I'm too young for anything to be wrong. Moreover, despite being 10 mins late, they cut 10 mins off my appointment time to end at the original time, saying that I'd have to book another $175 follow up consultation just to check my ear which was in considerable pain. This is just one example from the many chances I've given this place. They're incompetent and greedy. read more

Worse experience!! I went there to have a doctor clear a blockage in my ear. The doctor did not know how to complete a simple flushing and said I needed to wait for a nurse. The doctor also used googled as a reference when I asked her a question about vaccines. Once the nurse arrived she tried to complete it but kept flushing my ear with cold water as they have no hot water. I have no complaints about the nurse as she did the best with what she had. They did not have the proper equipment at the clinic. After 2 and half hours of water torture and a completely unsuccessful visit. I was told that there was nothing that could be done but here is your bill for $300. Completely disgraceful! If you need proper medical DO NOT go there!! read more

For a 5 minute consultation, they asked for $225. The administration staff is utterly incompetent. I asked for a confirmation email which was never sent, for an estimation before walking in and was informed that it would depend on my surgery. Never did they inform me how much it would cost for simply walking into their clinic. Honestly, I feel cheated. I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am from my experience and would urge everyone to avoid this clinic. There are other options in Montreal. read more

I requested an appointment and they promptly got back to be to book in. The reception was friendly, helpful and upfront about costs. The doctor immediately put me at ease and did a thorough intake. I am not comfortable in medical settings but I was here. Impressed. read more

Polite staff, low waiting time, however I'm concerned about the competence and knowledge of the MD's. The one I consulted was unable to recognize a typical case of shingles, which made me waste 48 hours. Given the fact that treatment must be started withing 72 hours of the first symptoms, this is a serious mistake they made. I even tried to get in touch with the MD to tell her about her mistake, so that she does not do it again with another patient, but was only offered to book another PAID appointment just to explain her that she made me pay for her incompetence during her first appointment. Therefore I can absolutely not recommend UnionMD to anyone. Not worth paying 150$ for erroneous diagnoses and prescription that may put your life at risk. Incompetence, greed and poor ethics. read more
