I just successfully completed the absolutely anxiety filled experience of renting an apartment in Manhattan and could not have done so without these guys so wanted to share my experience! From start to finish they were more than professional, prompt, kind humans and totally on your team. Keith greeted me with a smile and a handshake after I was late to our meeting to view a unit. We quickly and efficiently viewed several units and he immediately sent over the application info to get the process going. Between applying, waiting approval, hitting speed bumps, and dealing with landlords in manhattan-- I absolutely would not have the apartment I have now without him. He got an apartment outside of my budget to come down INTO my budget, was an incredible liaison between us and the landlord, gave emotional and moral support while we stressed about waiting approval, and was absolutely dedicated to helping us get what we wanted. I had met with several other people from rental companies in NYC and from our first moments could tell Keith was going to be the one to make this happen. I cannot say enough good words about Keith and this company as a whole. Professional, friendly, and they honestly do the impossible. 11/10 would recommend. read more

My husband and I worked with Alex Bruni to find our dream Upper West Side apartment. We are moving from Minnesota to NYC and after attempting to apartment search on our own it was clear that we needed help from an expert - especially since we were not in state. Alex went above and beyond to help us find an apartment that had everything we wanted, in our desired location, and was in our budget! We truly would not have secured our apartment without him and he took all the stress of NYC apartment hunting off our shoulders. Alex is personable, responsive, super knowledgeable about NY real estate, and has tons of great advice. Would highly recommend :) read more

My partner and I were looking for an apartment because our landlord raised our rent by an exceptional amount. We worked with Skye Foy and they seemed very nice upon our initial meeting. Unfortunately my partner and I didn't meet the correct requirements for the apartment, and we asked Skye if the landlord would be willing to negotiate, given that's what I've done with apartments in the past and it is a common thing outside of NYC. Skye refused to negotiate with the landlord or even make it seem as if they were trying to speak on our behalf. In the end, I'm assuming she lied just to get us off her case. We haven't heard from her since. I understand realtors can only do so much, but this isn't only about getting an apartment, it's about people finding a place to LIVE or else they will be homeless. My partner and I were willing to pay extra and provide documents that we were responsible tenants. They really put us in a bind, and besides their jobs, they need to have a bit more compassion for people's circumstances. read more

I worked with Alex Bruni and can't recommend him enough! I moved to NYC from Atlanta and he was with me every step of the way in the search for my new apartment. He is super responsive and went beyond expectations through the entire process. If you are moving from out of state, or just looking for a new apartment, Alex is your guy! 10/10 experience. read more

Worked with Alex Bruni and he found my housemate and I an amazing rent stabilized deal in East Village! He's super responsive and friendly. He was communicating with us and the landlord throughout the process, even calling them directly for updates on our application. I'd definitely recommend working with him--you'll find a great place! read more

I worked with Alex Bruni and had a wonderful experience finding a two bedroom in East Village. He was super responsive, helpful, and genuine. With a lot of slimy agents in the area, it was nice to have a pretty straight forward and nice experience. I felt like they were working for me and not against me. 100% would recommend. read more

I worked with Allegra Rosa and I could not recommend her enough!! As I was planning my move to NYC from a different state, she connected with me before I got there to get an understanding of what I wanted in an apartment. Once I got to the city she started setting up showings and I was able to find an apartment quickly. She helped me through every single step of the process and she was so helpful and nice. read more

I was taken apartment hunting with a friend who will remain nameless since he has a profession where he'd like to be off social media. He said the experience was so good he's yelp them if he could. Jordan took us for the day and showed us apartments in Kips Bay, the East Village, and the Lower East Side. These were around the 3000 price range and according to my homie there were a lot more than other real estate companies were able to show. In other words they had great selection and whole lot of inventory. We saw a variety or apartments high end flex 2 bedroom and some with a living room option. He understood the market as he understood the city. I hadn't been around NYC in a while and I was stunned to see how mach it has changed. What stood out was his fun and easy approach to it all. In the end he settled on an awesome place in the Lower East Side. I'll have an awesome place to crash when I visit New York City. read more

You can be certain with these guys that you are the absolute lowest of their priorities. We applied through their broker Skye Foy, and they appeared great at first, we toured and applied for one of their apartments and were told we would hear back in around 2 days. They have since just strung us along for over 3 weeks and refuse to give us a response after taking a lot of our sensitive identity documents and financial information while they continue to show off the apartment. Extremely unprofessional and scummy company and broker. read more

I worked with Alex to find a place in the city! I was moving from out of state and Alex was incredibly helpful in finding a place perfect for me. In addition, Alex always went the extra mile to help me feel comfortable in this new market. Alex is beyond kind and patient, and I'm so lucky to have him as my broker! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They work with absolute NYC slum lords and will LIE to your face about the quality of the management. They care about money over your wellbeing. After paying our broker Skye Foy 15% of the Annual Rent for a Brokerage Fee, we asked Skye Foy and Tonya Singh for the landlords email so we could provide proof and images of the condition of the apartment (mold, damage, dirt, corrosion, etc) and they lied that they didn't have it - really the brokerage and property management don't have each other's emails? They forget who they really work for and that at the end of the day this is a matter of the roofs over people's heads and their livelihoods. Worst experience of my LIFE. Save yourself the money and the hassle. read more

yikes, totally forgot to review until now- just received a text from my USQ Property management realtor (Jordan) who just checked in to see how me and the apartment were doing after my move in a few weeks ago. (I'm doing AWESOME, and I love my new home! thanks for asking) There's no way to sugarcoat it- looking for an apartment in New York is an emotionally/physically/financially trying experience. (it is good exercise though, I'll give you that). I was looking for an apartment in the East Village on a very tight budget, which kicked up the difficulty level by 100, and I was starting to feel discouraged. I found the listing by USQ Property MGMT on Streeteasy and figured it was worth a shot.... ...and it was! :) My cute little EV apartment was found! The broker who showed me the apartment (Steven) texted me back promptly about the application process and connected me to Jordan, who quickly sent me the paperwork and walked me through the process. I also had an out of state guarantor, which complicated things but Jordan was very patient and understanding. Throughout the process, Jordan was very prompt in answering my questions and coordinating times for lease signing/pickup/etc. Even at the lease signing, Jordan went through the lease with me, taking his time to explain each part of the lease and answer all of my questions. He was very professional and efficient with everything, leading to a quick and easy end to my home search, If you're looking for a new home in the area, definitely give them a call! They know the area, are professional and very easy to work with. Cannot thank them enough! read more

Being the "New Yorker" in my family (granted its been only four years), my cousin who just relocated into the city and needed to find an apartment, asked me to go around with him to help find a new home. I have been lucky enough to stay in the same spot, but have been to other brokers before when I've attempted to look, and was very happy with the experience with Union Square Property Management. Located right on St Marks, they seemed to offer an honest and no BS approach to the current market and what it would take to get something in the heart of the East Village. My cousin was shown three properties and he fell in love with one right off 2nd Ave. I have no doubt their knowledge of the area and relationships with the landlords made the process as smooth as can be. They also gave him an awesome checklist to be prepared with when he filled out the paperwork, some things I wish I had when I first came into the city. All and all these guys got the East Village market down pat, if I ever decide to venture farther east from my Greenwich Digs I know exactly where to come to! read more

Great broker's all-around. Jordan took care of me when I was looking for a new apartment in the East Village. I didn't end up moving, but they were completely professional and a breath of fresh air, with all the pushy and shady real estate people . If you're looking to move to the East Village, these guys are your top choice, TRUST me. read more

Jordan & his staff have great inventory in the East Village and were communicative and transparent throughout what is always a difficult process. Definitely recommend going through them if you are looking in the area, as they have better inventory and deals than most! read more

Can not say enough great things about Union Square Property Management! Absolutely fantastic team that truly cares about finding you the right place. My roommate and I came to Jordan and Christine feeling very discouraged after looking at a thousand terrible places with many awful, money-hungry brokers. Jordan sat down with us and asked what we were willing to pay and what we were looking for. He then came up with options for us and Christine (highly recommend!) took us to see the listings. Once we found THE place, Jordan and Christine made the application and lease signing process very easy. It has been nearly a week from our move-in date and Jordan has emailed us to ensure all is going well and we don't have any lingering questions. All in all, I would recommend this group to anyone looking for a reasonable and accommodating apartment. Not to mention the broker's fee was very low compared to most brokerages! Best of luck in your search! read more

Carlos, Jordan and the Union Square team were a breath of fresh air when I was hunting for an apartment in NYC. I worked with two other brokers before them and it was not a fun process - "here's an exclusive apartment and you have to sign it today or else it'll be gone and btw it's 15% commission HURRY HURRY SIGN HERE." Carlos took his time helping us find exactly what we wanted. He gladly walked me around town showing me several different options. At no point did I feel like they were strategically showing me/avoiding certain places to favor their best interests. They have a great network of landlords they work with, giving them access to some absolute steals. We got a great place in SoHo/LES for a fair price. I'd absolutely recommend them and they will likely be my first call next time I hunt for an apartment. read more

Was in a rush to find an apartment and didnt think I was going to be able to get one within my preferred price range/location but I found Elvis through Union Square Property Management and he helped me get an amazing apartment. I honestly did not believe it was going to work out for me but Elvis and Jordan helped me all the way through, he was always on top of it and was super easy going. A lot of the brokers I've dealt with in the past have been pushy and demanding but these guys were stress free. They were flexible with move-in/move-out dates and quick to respond to whatever questions or concerns I had. After going through the NYC apartment process for the last few years, Union Sq Property Management has been the most helpful and least stressful. I would encourage anyone to rent from them. read more

Alex was my leasing agent that showed me a couple of apartments, and I found one that I really liked. My roommates and I were all on different schedules, but Alex was willing to accommodate us and meet back several times to show my other roommate the apartment that I liked. Working with Jordan was great, no complaints at all. He was very knowledgable about the market and area, and it really seemed like he had our best interest in mind (unlike others). He was completely transparent throughout the entire process and made everything easy to understand in a timely manner, as we needed to move in ASAP. There was never a problem with communication, and I always got a quick response. Fees are low and he even gave us some leeway because he knew how hard it was being a recent college graduate. Overall, I really recommend working with these guys. They are honest and genuine about the work that they do and are really willing to help you. read more

Jordan and team were fantastic to work with. They were able to negotiate with the owner on my behalf, and work within my budget. Although I ended up subletting an apartment instead of leasing one, I wanted to recognize how hard Alex worked trying to find me a place I liked. He spent 5 hours with my mother and I walking all around the east village showing us every available option there was out there. He was so friendly and comfortable to talk to and took the time to explain how leasing an apartment worked since it was my first time. He also personalized the search according to what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend him to everyone, especially students who are often intimidated by standoffish and impatient brokers. I just wanted to say thank you Alex! read more

Jordan and his team were so helpful and easy to work with! They accommodated every single one of my and my roommates' requests with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. I'm so glad we found Union Square Property Management when we did because we had already wasted so much time with many other brokers who did not seem to really understand what we were looking for. What really set this agency above the others for us was the team's willingness to really work with us to get us what we wanted without pushing us out of our comfort zones just to benefit themselves. Now, one month after moving into our apartment in the East Village, we still text Jordan with any questions/concerns and always receive a quick response. read more

Union Square Property Management has been a complete blessing in our lives. Finding an apartment in the village for my daughter and her friends was a painful, painful process... until we connected with Jordan & Alex. Alex ran around with us, showed us their listings and Jordan made it happen. They were both honest and true (not the case with many we encountered). We found a 4 bedroom in the east village that will be a sweet place for the girls to call home. I know it couldn't have happened without them. We're mighty grateful. xo read more

I worked with Jordan and a couple of other colleagues of his and they helped my with my apartment hunt that I needed to turn around in a very short amount of time. I though he was very professional, and had genuine relationships with landlords (which most brokers say they do but actually don't. I spent a lot of time chasing people who were stringing me along in some way or another). He has reasonable fees - well below the 15% mark other brokers are charging. Moving can be a very stressful and expensive thing to do, and he and his colleges took the pain out of both of those negatives. I would recommend to any of my friends. read more

I started my apartment search in the peak of the summer, and within a few days already felt hopeless. Brokers would pull bait and switches on me constantly, try to push me into areas I didn't want, and try to make me pay outside of my budget with full broker fees too. Once I met Jordan though, the search was smooth and simple. Jordan and his team showed me great apartments for affordable prices. Once they figured out exactly what I was looking for, they even had me be the first to see a new apartment coming to market, as he promised. After I signed the apartment, he gave me ample time to pay the deposit, fees, etc. and then jumped through hoops for me once I needed to move my move in day to an earlier date. Couldn't be happier with the new location and couldn't have done it without Jordan and his team. I am currently and will continue to recommend him to everyone I know trying to move into my area. Absolutely phenomenal service. read more

Jordan is a class-act and a true gem in the jungle that is the NYC rental market. This team officially raised the bar and standard for NYC management companies. We all know it's a seller's/owner's market here, and by living in NYC all my life, I've had plenty of experiences dealing with management companies and broker agents. Generally, my past is full of middle-of-the-road experiences that weren't horrible (at least not in the pre-signed stage). But that's why Jordan, Elvis and team are particularly special. They take the personal, professional, authentic approach. And they're not intimidating, but relatable, personable folks. Everyone I met along the way engaged you in real conversation, guided my brothers and I through the apartment-hunting process. They stepped it up a notch, and they're the 1% when it comes to management companies, where the rest of the 99% are just meh. Everyone other mgmt. company knows they don't need to do anything incredible to land tenants for openings. But Elvis and Jordan never looked at it that way. Elvis was always super professional, listened to our needs, stayed in touch literally DAILY with us. He called the landlord every day while we were waiting to hear back on THE ONE, the apartment we wanted. And all during a crazy time personally, when our family was relocating to be closer to care for our mom, who wasn't doing well. When we shared that with the team, they busted out their A+ game to prioritize our needs so that we were ultimately approved by the landlord as brand new tenants. Even after we were approved, the team kept up the professionalism. We had a formal meeting (who does that in NY anymore?!) to review, sign the lease, pay our deposits, get our keys. And guess what? Elvis followed up with us weeks after we moved. Just to make sure we were all good. I can't say enough great things about this team. They're amazing, there's no reason everyone else can't step up their process to match these guys. I don't know what I'll do if I ever need to search for a new place again, and it's not covered / managed by these guys. Thanks, Elvis + Jordan! read more
