Look how awful all of this looks even around our plot.... It's a sad sight

Spoke with aurora to better understand what has been happening, she is kind sweet caring and passionate, I would 100/10 only work with her when you call. The level of professionalism from her is outstanding. She has promised that everything will be taken care of properly. Not so sure about her assistant BUT I feel confident within a small time I will be pleased, photos will be updated once I re visit the plot!

Very kind people here. Extremely helpful. They walked me to the person's gravesite, which was a big help. I am old and do not walk well.

Casey at Diablo Valley Cremation & Funeral Services was stunning, so incredibly helpful and kind. She showed the true compassion that was needed in our deepest despair. Prices were reasonable with many options to customize to your needs. Casey made everything very easy. They handled the transport from the hospital and interfaced with them directly, which was a relief for us because Kaiser can be very bureaucratic and there's a lot of friction dealing with them. Getting death certificates and keepsake pouches was also very easy because she simply did it for us. I liked that we were able to fill in my mom's information digitally using an e-sign software (it was like DocuSign) instead of having to go down in-person. We got the ashes turned around very quickly, leaving us with plenty of time for my mom's celebration of life. I also liked that the parking lot had plenty of wide spaces directly in front of the Antioch location, so it was very easy for us to get in and out for the appointment. Even after everything was done, I wanted to have a fingerprint jewelry piece made for my stepdad, and Casey was so helpful getting my mom's fingerprint over to us. It was just exceptional service from start to finish, which you really do need during your time of grief. I highly recommend Diablo Valley Cremation & Funeral Services to anyone going through this difficult process.

Death is never easy on anyone and there is a lot of emotions good and bad tied to death of a loved one. Recently loss my grandmother and I knew they were the first people I would call to start the process of following her wishes to be cremated. Danielle, Hailey, Becca and Trey all made the experience just as conforming as it was with my grandfather. They explained thoroughly the process in detail as well as reinsured and updated when my grandmother arrived to their facility safely. They brought calm and peace to what is probably the toughest time for me personally given my grandmother was like a mother to me. This team and business respects people from all walks of life along with their customers beliefs in culture or spirit working collectively with your family to carry out any wishes your loved one had. Obviously there are some protocols that they have to oblige to during the pandemic but never less did it take away from great service they provide. Im truly thankful for them, their professionalism, guidance, respect and honor goes above and beyond any expectations you would have. Its with my highest recommendation that this family owned business is your FIRST and only choice for your family member or loved one. The CABAN OHANA thanks you from the bottom of our heart and gives you our fondest aloha!

He quickly took my money and established a life policy with National Guardian Life Insurance Company. I kept asking for information from Bay Area Cremation as to who to contact when death occurs, etc. but never received anything. Once he referred me to National Guardian Life who has nothing to do with it except to pay the proceeds of the policy to Bay Area Cremation for their Services. He then told me that someone would call me within 24 hours and nobody did. Luckily, I cancelled the policy within my 30 day cancellation period. I haven't received my refund yet, I sent a letter to Bay Area Cremation at their Brentwood address and it was returned as Undeliverable. I believe that Mike Rock is nothing more than an insurance agent. BEWARE!

Diablo Valley Cremation and Funeral was gentle and professional through the hardest day of my life…read more Most of my dad's family and friends are abroad in Turkey, and I was afraid he wouldn't have many people there for him. He was such a good man. When I walked in to see him for the first time, he had been presented with so much dignity. The room they recommended was the perfect size for our group, intimate enough that it never felt empty, and large enough that we felt respected and not crowded. They arranged flowers, a spray and music that were true to him. They never rushed us. Everyone was compassionate, and they balanced clear, caring communication with real empathy in their eyes when they looked at you. The loss was so unexpected and we didn't know what to do, so they educated us gently and took care of the details so I didn't have to think and could focus on my father and our loved ones and truly mourn. I knew I was in the hands of true professionals with deep experience, including with families of many cultures. They were understanding with every guest and thoughtful in the small ways they arranged the day. I would never wish this experience on anyone, but it's part of life. I came away thinking of my father on that day, celebrated with joy, love and dignity. I feel a sense of peace and closure for his life, and Diablo Valley helped our family feel that on such an emotional day. I will be forever grateful to their team.

When I found myself in that heartbreaking situation, Bari made me feel like I had all the support in the world. From the very beginning, they treated me and my family with genuine compassion, kindness, and respect. They made us feel like human beings going through an unimaginable loss not like just another customer or another check. Everything was explained clearly, patiently, and with so much care. There were no surprises, and they made sure we understood every step of the process. During one of the most difficult times of my life, having people who truly cared made such a difference. Bari gave us comfort when we needed it most and helped make an incredibly painful process a little easier. I am beyond grateful for the way they cared for my loved one and for the compassion they showed my family.

They have views of the San Francisco Bay from the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate. You walk in and the ceilings are super high, so there's a grandness to the place. I have no idea how they still have open spots, but Mom got one in the Oak Room, near a plant which I thought was great because she loves plants. Claude was able to do all the paperwork in half an hour and off we went. Mom and Dad didn't want to do any financing and wanted to pay cash. Here's a tip, bring your checkbook or actual cash, or else you'll be hit with a crazy processing fee of almost 4%, which would have equaled almost $500, just to use a credit card. Save yourself that fee by being prepared. If you need to make your arrangements, you can't do it online. They want you to come in and do the paperwork, but it doesn't take long.
