This is the worst mortgage company ever! They recently took…read moreover servicing of my loan for my prior mortgage company, who were just fine. I only found out about Green Tree two weeks ago, when I received their billing information; now they're calling and harassing me about my payment that was due the beginning of April! (today is April 30). I didn't even know about Green Tree assuming my loan until I started receiving calls from them. Their employees are stunningly rude, and have absolutely no idea of customer service. I'm going to refinance out of Green Tree ASAP!

When I got upset I was told I was the one in the wrong. I feel I had the right to be upset since there was a lot of time wasted and still no resolve. Get your money OUT OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! They do not understand how to help customers. They should be helping to solve the problem their employees create with miscommunication. This company does not care about its customers.

I have had Ditech for the entire length of my mortgage. Never once had a late payment. 100% on time…read moreand even paid some principal ahead of time. Did not notice the $36.00 yes just $36.00 difference in escrow payments monthly. Ditech not only charged me a $83.90 fee more than double what I missed on the statement, but also refused to allow me to speak to any manager, get a phone number to anyone minus the person who said and I quote because I recorded the call "I am lead here, there is no one else that can take your call. We do not have external email addresses, the best I can give you is fax # and you can address your grievance to Stacy and Tiffany" . NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT and one little error and they are charging my more than double how much was missed. Even though they said I understand it was an error ..."but our company policy is to NEVER waive a fee, even on the first time it is issued" Worst customer service... See ya DiTech will be refinancing to another mortgage company this week.

I too have had issues where I am allegedly late, but when they send me the documents to marry up my…read morepayments with their schedule, surprise surprise: I am on time! Now, I got a letter that I am being forced to have an escrow account, yet has a high percentage of equity owned, and have been paying my insurance and taxes ON MY OWN FOR YEARS. By far the worst mortgage company I have ever encountered. Truly a disappointment. And like always, my words will not be heard and no one at DiTech will do anything about this until 4-6 months in and only after people need to get aggressive. I just want to make my monthly payment and be left alone.
