But when I'm blazing…read morepast people without breaking a sweat and getting from here to there in a third of the time, the efficiency of the xootr wins out over looking like a dork. The only drawback is that I feel like someone stabbed me in the left a$$ cheek. If I don't learn how to scoot with my right leg I'm going to be totally lop-sided.

I never asked for any favors - they promptly shipped the wheel and ... refunded its shipping cost to my PayPal totally unbeknown to me (until PayPal sent me a refund note). Great people to deal with, what a customer service. Very impressive. While at it - I find 2 things about Xootr kick scooters superior to the competition: first, the bearings on the Xootr wheels keep going forever spinning quietly and without wear, they seem to be of NASA quality and I'm not kidding (I bought my Xootr 15 years ago!). Perhaps that's why Xootr scooters are rated as the fastest in reviews. Secondly, the width of the board is incredibly useful - it lets you rest your other foot comfortably and, what nobody has picked up on, it helps you "steer with your legs" by shifting body weight onto the broad base with your feet. Smart engineering. Xootr is a great kick scooter and I wish you guys much success!

Northeast Golf is a great store for the avid golfer. Its not a big box store and you really get…read morethe individual attention from a staff that is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the game of golf. Had them re-grip my irons and they did an amazing job. The turnaround time was two days and the alignment was perfect. Feels like a new set. Great prices too, only about a $1 up charge to have the grip installed. Whether its your first set of clubs or you're looking for a high end Scotty Cameron putter, Northeast Golf is where its at. The only reason I didn't review 5 stars is the layout of the store. Its cluttered and hard to find what you're looking for, but I assure you, if its golf related they'll have it.

I needed Scott to fix bad tunes from several other shops that I tried when I couldn't make it up to Elk. I purchase high performance skis because I want a high performance feel. Every tune at Guenther's has felt like the factory tune, but Scott will modify the tune if desired. To those looking for boots, Scott is a great boot fitter who specializes in a performance fit, which is why a majority of the Elk race team, coaches, and parents get fitted at Guenther's. He downsized me into a boot that was quite painful for a few days, even after hot molding, but the increase in performance has been incredible. They are very comfortable boots now, but you have to be willing to suffer a bit for the improved performance. Every other shop tried to put me and my family in larger boots that were more comfortable. Larger boots may be comfortable and performant on day 1, but they will get loose over time and your skiing will suffer. I learned the hard way.
