My daughter was at rehearsal, so she couldn't go with me to try on the shoes. At Susan's suggestion, I brought one of my daughter's shoes with me to decide which size character shoe would fit her. Susan did a great job in helping me buy the right character sized shoe without my daughter's presence. There was another customer in as well who was shopping for her daughter who needed something last minute as well for an audition the next morning in NYC and Susan saved her as well!! Her daughter as well was not with her. Blue Dove Dance Boutique has everything you need in a great location and the store owner is welcoming, helpful and sweet. You will not be disappointed!!

The staff was so helpful and gentle with her little feet and made her first dance shoe experience so fun! They had full inventory and all sizes so we could actually leave with style and size we wanted without waiting for the dreaded ordering. Anyone with a toddler knows that placing an order is not what they want when they walk into a store! I was also so happy when I got home and looked up the items we had bought online and saw that the prices were exact MSRP with no boutique mark ups. We will be back probably once a week after dance class!

When I asked if they were too big or how much room he should have in front, I got little answer. Finally I suggested he try a size down, and we received no more assistance fitting them. We did buy that pair, and today I realize that they are still probably too big. I'd love to return and buy elsewhere after such a frustrating experience but they say no refunds. We live 45 minutes away. An exchange needed due to bad service and fitting is REALLY frustrating.

My daughter also wanted a new leotard and they have such a great selection, she found several that she loved (and she's choosey) In addition the to the excellent customer service and solid selection of basics, they stock lots of fun extras, like dance related jewelry, sparkly hair accessories and bags. The owner, Lisa, as well as her assistant, could not have been more helpful. I was shopping with my mom and we received an extensive overview of Crane & Co. products. Lisa didn't mind at all when we barraged them with many questions and she invited us to sit and flip through Crane's huge catalog--which we did, for over an hour! Both Lisa and her assistant offered helpful suggestions and ideas about ways to customize our stationary. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I look forward to returning to the store to place the order. They are also able to assist with in-house printing needs, such as table cards, programs, etc. Waverly General Store also had such unique household items and a fabulous Vera Bradley selection! It was a delight stopping there on a rainy Saturday.

The two young girls who work there are good and try their best. The older lady who I assume is the owner of the store is terrible - she is extremely rude and unprofessional.
