Chris and his crew of guys (Alex, Jordan, and Jacob)…read morewere friendly, informative, professional, and they worked quickly to get a new system installed. We had contacted them because our 5 year old HVAC system, that was installed by one of their competitors, stopped blowing cold air. Unfortunately, 5 years ago we made the mistake of going with someone else for our HVAC system. So we first called that competitor to see what they could do for us but instead of visiting us as a repairman, it felt more like they came in as a salesman. They used high pressure tactics on my husband and I. We were made to feel like we didn't have much of an option other than to purchase a new AC unit that was twice the price that Air Repair HVAC provided us with. It turns out that their competitor was also charging us more than double for the biannual maintenance check than Air Repair HVAC charges. So, long story short, if you are stuck between going with Air Repair HVAC or AC Plus......CHOOSE AIR REPAIR HVAC!!! They've got my highest recommendation.

Great company to work with for air services. Highly recommended…read more I've been getting my biannual services on my home central air HVAC system since around 2014 after having not great service from another company. Last year I got a new system for my house and everything went smoothly and my new system has been working great. I talked with a few of my coworkers who worked in air conditioning in the past or recently got a new system for their home about my system and they agreed I got a great price from the company. Customer Service has always been great. The office staff has been on top of getting services scheduled and always been professional and helpful. All the service techs and installers I have interacted with have been great as well.

Long review but honest…read more Very courteous, respectful and responsive. His technician came and diagnosed my air conditioner. I was told a new blower motor was required and after the install, this "fix" did not fix my system. At that point, I was immediately told this repair, which was a $600 fix, was now a recommended $7145.75 new unit fix and anything else would be a band aid. I also felt as if the newly installed blower sounded weird and did not put out much air to the vents. I asked him about the possibility a part was installed wrong and I was immediately told the part was installed correctly (Sidenote: the tech also left his wallet in my attic for some reason and had to come back to get it later in the day). Due to the fan sounding weird and a complete lack of airflow with just the fan running, I did not feel comfortable with the repair or being told that I went from $600 repair to an over $7000 repair in order to get my A/C in my home. I decided to not have them return to my home because I knew something wasn't right. I was then asked by Craig, the owner, if I would allow him to my residence to look at the issue the next day. I had already lost faith in his company and I chose not to do further business with him. He then waived the installation cost ($300) and I paid him for the parts ($300). Since then, I've had two other companies come out and they both verified that the installed part was installed incorrectly. Because he asked to be told what the "next technician finds", I let Craig know what happened. I then told him I would be leaving a review of my experience with his company and he responded by telling me if I was to leave a negative review, I would be "violating the terms of service agreed upon" by accepting his invoice to complete work at my property. In case you don't know, this is illegal and not enforceable as long as the review is truthful and honest, which this one is. I advised Craig that a "gag order" to prevent a truthful review is not enforceable. Soon after, he sent me a text indicating there "will be nor was there any intent of legal action in any part of our conversation for any review". He further stated he would be changing his terms moving forward, which I applaud. One other thing I didn't like was the fact that he also tried to give me a refund for the parts ($300) "in good faith". I declined this refund because it is my opinion he did this in an effort to get me not to leave this review. He never indicated that was the case but that is my opinion. In short, Craig was respectful, quick to respond, and quick to schedule. However, I just cannot trust his technicians and have lost faith in his company. Also, his entire "A negative review would violate my terms" idea is, in my opinion, a questionable business practice, unenforceable, and is intended to undermine the entire concept behind honest reviews. He gets two stars because at no point was he vulgar or disrespectful.

Instead of simply telling me it wasn't their problem, he took the time to thoroughly investigate, eliminate several possible causes, and help pinpoint what turned out to be a much larger concern. His professionalism, honesty, and willingness to help without rushing the process truly stood out. It's rare to find a company that values helping people as much as they do. I'm incredibly grateful for the time and expertise Craig shared. If I ever have an HVAC issue in the future, HD Honest Air will be the first company I call.
