The atmosphere with sports channels, etc. is not really my cup of tea, but I get that this might be rather popular among most customers. I liked the communication between the barbers as it seemed like they worked as a team. At the same time, I did not feel Myolo's attention was taken away. I was happy with the result, and I didn't feel rushed. Myolo took his time, and I felt I was not just another number. Finally, the check out was pleasant without any attempts for an upsale. Hell, I even did a little test/research project and got my hair did by every single barber in the shop and never received a bad cut, even from the guys when they were just starting out back in the day. Every barber has their own take on their craft and style, but I always left looking like the fly ass fine specimen of a man that I am with a fresh and clean cut! Don't hesitate to drop by and become part of their family, because that's exactly how they will treat you. They will remember exactly what you like/don't like. They will take you from looking like a hobo to a well maintained gentleman in a snap. If you're ugly, they can't fix that, but they will give you a sweet cut that will take people's attention off your face.

The assignment was simple: let's get my man's head taken care of, and that's exactly what happened. Shawna was able to cut the hair with a cut short enough to be able "wake up and go" but, long enough to be able to give a little style, if the occasion called for it. Since my kiddo works in Burleson and I often take her to work, I decided to try Knockouts since they are in the same complex as her work (she works at Spencer's Gifts). She was an amazing barber/stylist. I need you to understand just how much I hate being touched by strangers. It's all but painful for me. I'm not diagnosed with OCD or anything, I just don't like it when strangers touch me. It's a thing. However, Miss Gaby had a very light touch. I never felt manhandled or disrespected. She was efficient, she was professional, and she worked quickly and did an amazing job. I showed her a photograph of the last time mom was able to give me a haircut I liked, and she matched it perfectly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs a barber, a beard trim, a shampoo, or just looking for a new style. And I will also add that since I let miss Gaby attend to my haircut needs, I've received more than one compliment on my hair. Like most men, compliments are rare for me so it cannot be understated just how much I appreciate her work and her professionalism. I have made an appointment for a return visit and am eager to keep this place as a regular fixture in my routine.
