Was a patient for close to 20 years. Left because of the rotating door of staff and the incessant calls to reschedule and move appointments around. I was part of some pilot program shortly before I left where they started doing dental implants in house. The implant has been in my mouth 3 years and is falling out. The dentist who performed the procedure is also no longer with them (surprise) and they no longer do implants after he left (surprise). So now I'm just out approximately $8k and their stance is "unfortunately this stuff happens sometimes". I have two other implants done over ten years ago, while I was at their practice, but from a referral from them to an outside oral surgeon before they attempted to become Acme Implant, inc...that are perfectly fine. For almost 5 years we've been going to this place, with mostly ok results. However, the business has gone through multiple owners, and our latest experiences have been concerning, to the point of breaking the trust we had on these professionals. When you get told you have sth that's an easy fix and given a specific quote, to then the day of the procedure finding out that the dentist that diagnosed you is not there, and this new dentist is telling you that in fact you need sth much more expensive and invasive, and then after refusing to do it, the dentist that originally saw you gives you a call to admit and apologize for his colleague because they made a mistake, is more than disconcerting. This mistake would have not only been very invasive and a malpractice, but would have cost me almost $1,000 out of pocket! The hygienists there come and go and the one I've seen in the past couple of years, has lately just been wanting to sell us things and treatments that are not really necessary. They used to have an excellent dental hygienist that my family adored. We stayed for her. She left, they got worse. They charge way more than the competitors for subpar work. All of the pricey work we have had done while with unforgettable smiles over the years keeps needing to be redone(at least prices are cheaper elsewhere). We can't get our time back. Save yourself! Dr. Gary Lindemann provided unqualified orthodontic treatment to me for shifted top and crowded bottom teeth. The treatment resulted in an uneven bite and setback to both lateral incisors. When asked about both of these issues, Dr. Lindemann suggested "shaving" various teeth to "fit" the bite and "appearance." I'm not an orthodontist or a dentist, but this didn't sound like the correct medical procedure to fix what Dr. Lindemann did to my teeth and bite. After many years of discomfort, I visited a qualified orthodontist who has since properly treated what was never corrected by Dr. Lindemann. I'm disgusted to learn that Dr. Lindemann has made this same suggestive practice of shaving teeth to other patients as well. Avoid at all costs, especially the cost of your smile. read more

UpSell ! UpSell ! Its all about money. From the moment you come in the door, they are trying to upsell you. TVs blazing with dentistry products channel. The hygienist is actually a sales rep. She is instructed by the dental partners to sell more services and products. Be prepared for a one-on-one sales pitch. And then if you still don't buy, they call in the partner to close the deal. Only the partner calls this closing an examination and it costs you several hundred dollars. This practice used to be a family place, but Dr. Linderman sold out to a big dental conglamorate and now they need to make their money back. I am mostly upset that I wasted a morning of my work day there, getting upsold. My philosphy is "If it is not broke, don't fix it" and when I didn't buy their extended service, they refused to give me a cleaning. The Groupon I bought said cleaning and whitening on getting their I was told the whitening is take home kit which will be given to me after the cleaning I told them their Groupon was deceptive as it should have stated take home they called a lady in that explained to me they don't do in office whitening and the take home kit will be given to me after the cleaning I should have suspected something was up as soon as my teeth was cleaned they all disappeared and the front desk girl came in to try to get buy their dental plan told her I will think about it then I asked for my whitening kit "they were out of supply " folks don't go there their advertisements ar Since July I have been receiving different promotions through emails forms forgettable smiles and phone calls. Today I picked their call to tell them to remove me from their call lists and emails lo!and behold! I was told I have an outstanding bill of $25 plus some change which I thought was paid at time of service I was told it was paid , I paid and requested emails receipt lo and behold the "mail receipt was purportedly sent several times which never came through. Am told I have to wait about 2weeks for the receipt to come in the mail. Folks stay clear of this dental office they do not deserve 1 Star read more

I was told the office would call me back regarding my failed Invisalign treatments. That was 2 weeks ago. Still no response from the staff at Unforgettable Smiles. They wanted to change me additional money, $600.00, for new Invisalign retainers. The professional staff failed to provide adequate education regarding maintaining proper teeth alignment following Invisalign treatments. I've been a patient there since the '90's. the only thing unforgettable about this dentist office was the way Dr. Houston treated me. I Wanted to wait to have work done on my son's tooth.she wasnt happy with that and raied her voice to me. then became very unprofessional, rude, and made me feel stupid- as if I wasnt getting what needed to be done. although the work she had planned to do was totally preventative she made it sound like I was beening neglectful on my son's behalf. I wonder how many other time she has put people on the spot like that and done work that may not have even been necessary. By the way I got their number from 1800Dentist. after my ordeal with Dr. Houston, I tried to write a review about it but could not on that site so I called them about it. Dr. Nichol Houston is our family dentist. I originally started sending my twin daughters to her when they were just 4 years old. They are now 12! She is very patient and knowledgeable in her field. She has an excellent chair side manner. She always makes sure I'm aware of how she is preparing to treat the twins prior to and after their visit and will usually give me different treatment options to pick from if applicable. I never feel rushed when I'm in her office. She takes her time and explains to me her treatment plan no matter how many questions I have. I have had prior experiences when I have felt rushed by the doctor because they have patients waiting. It is very refreshing being seen by a doctor that is committed to servicing the patient and not just getting the money. While i found Dr. Linerman to be quite pleasant and professional i found it quite upsetting that the office staff mislead me. When i called unforgettable smiles the personnel assured me that they did indeed accept delta dental insurance and were a preferred ppo dentist for my insurance plan. As it turned out Unforgettable Smiles has two dentists one is a preferred ppo for delta dental and one is not. HUMMM as it turned out when i called to make an appointment for my daughter the dentist they set her up with was not a preferred ppo for delta dental (my insurance carrier). I was charged 30 % of the fee because they set me up to see the dentist who was not a preferred ppo when i should have been charged 10 % for a preferred ppo dentist. I'm a single working female i don't receive any government benefits i pay my bills. It is unforgivable that these people would deliberately mislead you....Not cool unforgettable smiles...im certainly not going to forget being charged 3 times as much for your services read more
