Adam is knowledgable, helpful, incredibly customer oriented, and timely. He worked with me to help me pick out a washer and dryer set with delivery and install. They work great, look great, and came with a warranty. He went above and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend Underwoods Appliances. read more

History

Established in 2023.

Not much to say here but I’m a former Whirlpool/GE technician that wanted more freedom I am a free spirit and like to pave my own way so I decided to start my own business and that’s just what I did. I’ve been slowly building over time and that’s what you do in a business one day at a time and one deal at a time while learning as much as you can along the way. I’m a guy that gets to work out of his home/shop and work by appointment for now but I do have my sights set on bigger things by bringing semi loads of new appliances into the mix in a year to two years. All very exciting things now and in the future.

Meet the Business Owner: Adam U.

I just kind of lucked into the appliance world over 5 years ago starting as a Whirlpool technician and then I ended up going out on my own about two years ago selling used appliances, doing in home service calls and repairs in shop. Idk what it is but I enjoy seeing happy customers and fixing appliances, I like working in my shop as well and I don’t see myself doing anything different ever. I’ve sold between 200-300 appliances the last two years with many happy customers. I like being the guy that my repeat customers come to and they know they can trust that’s huge! Here at Underwoods we will will be selling NEW and used appliances in 2026-2027 so that’s exciting as well. Everyday is a new adventure and that’s how I want to live my life it’s exciting and I love it.

Wyatt, our technician, was a little frustrated because the tech who inspected our dryer two weeks ago left it unassembled. Sears really needs to figure out the scheduling and notifications. On one occasion, I was sitting at the kitchen table, 15 feet from the front door, when I got a message that the tech had been there, knocked and left. There is a doorbell which he chose not to use. I bill $375 per hour, and wasted about three hours sitting at the house waiting for a tech who either showed up and left, or canceled.
