This company is a shyster at it's very core. our A/C heating fan went out while we were on…read morevacation, I had them come out they quoted $800 for a relay and a fan. I promptly called my Brother in Texas, he is a regional manager of a large industrial AC company. He told me it shouldn't cost more then $500 at the very very worse. I called the repair guy and he was rude and told me that he wasn't even going to check on the fan till the next day.. and the temp was going down. I felt like I needed them opposed to them needing us as a customer. So I decided to Call Lewis and Malone to take a second look. of course I didn't tell them about the prior quote. Immediately determined it was only the fan, they had one on the van, $400. Polite professional. So it's crazy that they wanted to overcharge us, and sale us on things we didn't need. I give them a Shyster Score for unscrupulous, fraudulent, and deceptive methods in business.

I used Jackson for many years, on a recent call out they came quickly…read more said it was the fan motor, over for $1200 (for a fan motor), took two weeks to get. replaced the fan motor, then said it was the fan speed controller board, not to worry it was only about $40, never found the speed controller board, but after a week and a half they came out and by passed the fan speed controller board. Still did not work, then he found the unit (heat pump) was low on Freon. recharged unit now seems to be working. I am wondering if all that was ever wrong with the system was low Freon to start with. I have lost confidence.
