In the end they were beyond terrific. Sean, DJ, Yodiel, Pablo and Jay made it happen. Vapor…read moreBarrier under my mobile and boy was it tight! And they removed the duct work and blocked the vents left behind when I went to a mini-split system. Really tight and they had to dig in order to install the insulation and vapor barrier. Digging brought out a lot sand which they disposed of for me. Thanks again, a great team! Pat C. - MHP

This is a crazy story, but... We hired Freedom Vapor Barrier to install a vapor barrier under our…read moremobile home. The crew seemed competent enough. I don't think I have any complaints with their work. We paid up and forgot about the whole thing. Then, several weeks later, I got a message on my phone that said, " This is Freedom Vapor Barrier and you need to call us about payment". I spoke to my wife to confirm that we had indeed paid. She showed me the credit card statement. I called their office and explained to the girl who answered the phone that we had paid. She said "Well, you're on the board here for non payment". As if that explained things. Again, I pointed out that we had paid and that they didn't need to call us anymore. A few minutes later, someone else from Freedom Vapor Barrier called and said there was no record of us paying. By now I'm irritated. I know this is a mistake on their end, but they're too blockheaded to understand the obvious logic. They kept saying things like, "Well when did you pay?" and "How did you pay?" My wife, who handles the checkbook and credit card statements, got on the phone and pointed out that we had our card statement to PROVE that we had paid. The guy said, " Well, we don't have a credit card payment from you. He started going through his credit card sales one by one, and sure enough, one of them had our name on it. My wife said, "Is that your way of apologizing?" To that he replied, "YOU GUYS ARE F**king Assh***s". Stunned, my wife said What? And then he hung up. I grabbed the phone and called back immediately. When someone answered I asked "Are you guy who just called my wife a Fu**ing A**hole?" he said, Nope that guy just left. Really? He left in the last 12 seconds? I tried to state my case and they just kept talking over me nonstop. I honestly couldn't get a word in. It was clearly a case of negative customer service. They were so arrogant and insulting that they couldn't care less what I thought. First of all, what kind of a business can't keep track of which customers have paid them? They should have been embarrassed by their incompetence and apologized. Secondly, what kind of a sick, mismanaged company allows their employees to talk to customers like that? If I owned a company and caught one of my employees speaking to my customers like that, it would be their last day of work with me. But not at Freedom Vapor Barrier. This type of behavior is obviously the accepted norm there. And based on that, I would urge you to be VERY careful about letting these clowns work on my house. If this is how they treat their customers, then how do they treat your property? Think about that attitude when you decide to have a vapor barrier installed at your home.
