A terrific little coffee shop on the main drag in Wooster. Nice selection of sweets while serving breakfast and lunch. So happy we ran into it! Would not of if we wouldn't have parked the car and went exploring! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars! Well done!

Coffee With Vegan Cinnamon Roll And Vegan Raspberry Scone

Getting to Undergrounds Cafe is an adventure. It's located in an office building so it can be hard to find. The aroma helped me find it. It's in the basement. There's coffee and pastries, some of which are vegan. Coffee is good but the pastries are even better. It has a large variety of fresh made things like cakes, cinnamon rolls, and scones. They even have a few that are vegan. If you check in you get a free coffee. This goes good with any pastry. I like to get the vegan cinnamon roll or the raspberry scone, both of which are made without animal products at all. It's about $3 for a pastry. The vegan ones taste like the real thing. It's in an office building. One bad thing is trying to find a bathroom anywhere inside. There's one upstairs.

What a great spot down stairs! Great coffee choices, scrumptious food.

A great little spot down the stairs inside. Everything's great to taste. Quick, easy, kind service. If I lived in town, this would be my on the regular.

Stopped in for a hot drink and decided to order a dirty chai latte. We weren't able to drink it because it was too hot. When we tried it it seemed very bitter so I went back and asked if I could have a replacement, they were very happy to give me a different drink free of charge. Great customer service, however, the second drink is still better.

We have been all over Wooster and this is by far our favorite coffee place out of the four places we have tried definitely recommend!

Cute and friendly but my peppermint mocha tasted like a package of hot chocolate I could have made myself. Disappointing for 6$

I ordered one piece of fish and a New York chicken rice bowl with the red sauce, but I also added a vegan white sauce since I'm dairy free. The chef even gave us a taste of his gumbo which he was selling the next day. The bowl was amazing. Everything was fresh and cooked well. I was really surprised by the size of the piece of fish which was perch as normally perch is not so large. We were joined by a group of family and friends and everyone enjoyed the food from the mac & cheese to the jerk chicken to the fried fish bowl and falafel. If I'm ever back in town, I will definitely stop by. Well, in the shop, I did a little bit of shopping as well and picked up a very cute leaf pottery. I love how it natural it looks, but then it will also match the other leaf pieces I already have. The store has a wide a food on the shelf or in the fridge section plus really pretty crochet, pottery, jewelry, and other items. The store has something for everyone. Finally, we enjoyed the coffee shop which had really delicious lemonades and a number of people in our party also had coffee drink drinks. When back in Wooster this summer for my niece's graduation, I'll be sure to stop in especially if it's a Friday or Saturday for Big D's Soul BQ.

Only thing I would've like to see was more drink offerings; I didn't want a coffee with my burger so I opted for a Diet Coke (can). Iced tea or Lemonade would be a nice addition!

We did so and then found a booth to sit at. They have water and glasses available to serve yourself. So many drink options are available too. Next time for sure I'll try one of those. I got the beer cheese smash burger and an order of the Reuben fries they had as a special for St Patrick's Day. I didn't look at the price so I was a bit shocked when my bill was $25 for those two items. $15 for fries. It's a good thing they were delicious. I absolutely loved the burger served in a pool of cheese! For someone that loves cheese it was great to dip every bite of my burger in it. The grilled onions were cooked perfectly and the burger was fresh and quality. I also had the chance to try a couple of the cheese curds my mom had ordered with her quesadilla smash burger. They were so different from the cheese curds I'm used to getting. Cut into cubes and lightly battered. Served with a ranch dipping sauce. They were good. It may be slightly expensive but the fact it's freshly made helps ease that. The three of us were in agreement, we would definitely return. I would like to try some of their other items.
