As I spoke with the two friendly gentlemen at the store, I became more comfortable. They told me about how and where the shoes were hand made. Luckily they had my size in the cutest, most comfortable shoes I have bought in years. I asked how much and when the owner said $50 I didn't even blink. Hey, I'm on vacation and I thought the shoes were worth $50. Only to look back later at the picture I had taken of the storefront and the sign that read "Store moving. Everything must go. All shoes $49 or less." So basically this "really nice guy" ripped me off. Bummer! I also found out that everything in South Beach is negotiable. Basically you offer half of what they are asking and then go back and forth until you aren't paying $50 for a pair of shoes. Why couldn't someone have told me this BEFORE I went out shopping!!? Argh. " then huffed & rolled her eyes then walked away ... I reminded her that all the scented body care is already unsealed and is quite literally only meant to be smelled and browsed before buying... she then just stood at the end of the isle talking to herself ...
