Absolutely amazing experience. Mike set me up with Eugene for my first tattoo. Eugene was the consummate professional. He took time to sit with me and make sure I would be getting the tattoo that I would be happy with. After discussing placement, color ,font, lines and size Eugene created his art on his iPad. Once I said ok he recreated that artwork on my arm. Eugene has excellent technique. His lines are sharp and his colors are true. I could not be happier. read more

My friend and I went to get our first tattoos together last year from Edgar. We saw his work on social media and really liked it. We sent him an email months in advance, sending him sketches of very minimalist, simple, small tattoos. When it came to the day of our tattoo, he emailed my friend asking for the design again and she sent it and told him exactly what she wanted, just to make the lines straighter. When we got there, he drew up a design that was way more detailed than the photo she sent him and when she reminded him of what she had initially wanted, he seemed annoyed that he had to re-sketch it. He charged her a higher price than was initially discussed even though everything about the tattoo had stayed the same since the consultation. He had an attitude the whole time and it seemed like he was rushing us to make decisions about art that would be on our bodies permanently. In the end, the tattoos came out okay and he promised us a free touch-up within the year. My friend emailed him about a month ago inquiring about the touch-up and when he did not get back to her weeks later, she Instagram messaged him and the message was left on read. Overall the tattoos were decent but customer service was not it. read more

I have to say this review is long overdue, I first got tattooed by Juan in November. I was extremely happy with my venom piece. As you can see in the photos his work is phenomenal. Everything was crystal clean and the rest of the guys in the shop were very accommodating. The staff takes movie requests and of course check on the clients for beverages. As a woman I've never felt uncomfortable or disrespected in this shop. In fact I get the complete opposite, the guys are polite and are usually too busy concentrating on their clients. Juan was very professional and checked in every two weeks to make sure the tattoo had healed. Overall I'm happy with the tattoo as well as the experience. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get tatted! read more

Had a great experience getting my first tattoo. I was happy the owner recommended Emily when he saw what I was interested in. She explained all the details and made me feel super comfortable. I shopped around to a few of the local shops before committing to Undead Ink. One of the tattoo places made me feel very uncomfortable by questioning my design, etc. seemed like it wasn't worth his time. I am sure each artist gets fees based on their ability and speciality. I had a tattoo session scheduled with Edgar for quite a bit of work. One was a new tattoo, one was an addition to an existing tattoo along with a touch up to the rest of the tattoo and the last bit was a touch up to an existing coverup. When I got there, the artist didn't even have the right flower (aster) printed to add on to the existing piece, just some random daisy, even though I'd emailed multiple images of what I wanted. He had to go online to find one, print it, size it and trace it. He hadn't eaten lunch so he asked if he could, so I obviously said yes. Then another customer came in for a consultation and he took 20+ minutes consulting with the new customer. The tattoo session to add the flower onto my existing piece started way after the session's scheduled time and because the shop closed at 5, that was the only thing that was done. Edgar asked me to contact him regarding how the flower healed and to schedule the next session. I sent one email a few days later with no response. I sent a second email a week later with no response. Last night, I called and let the owner know what happened. I expressed that I really hate being put in such an uncomfortable situation because I liked the tattoo artist and wanted to come back. He repeatedly said, "I'm sorry you feel that way" (not an apology at all) but these things happen and emails get lost in the shuffle. He came up with a list of excuses worthy of an entire episode of The Office. He promised he'd have the tattoo artist call me back by the end of the day. Needless to say, I did not get a call back. If you really love the tattoo artist's work, do you go back? If so, Edgar is a nice guy and a great artist but this kind of treatment is just not for me. Side note: The flower that was added on is absolutely gorgeous. The tattoo artist's work is really damn good and he's a nice kid, but come on. Another few side notes: When I went in for a consultation, Edgar was tattooing a large piece on another customer (a man). He didn't stop to talk to me about my piece for half an hour. When I was waiting to be tattooed, the customer who I mentioned earlier was also a man. He took time out of my session to talk to him. This was after him not having the correct flower printed and eating his lunch. By that point, I already felt disrespected as a woman and considered leaving. I went into the bathroom and there are drawings of penises all over the walls. Whatever, child's play, but it all adds up... In retrospect, this doesn't really seem like a stand-up establishment at all. Either way, they've lost my business and I'll make sure to share my experience. read more

Been getting a tattoo removed here. They have a relationship with Tataway. Tataway is in Undead Ink with a special removal laser every 6 weeks. This entire shop is totally clean and professional. Amazing ink is done here as well. Very positive experience. Highly recommended! read more

Paid a depo for a tatt in Dec 2019 for early 2020 and due to covid appt was cancelled which is understandable. What's not understandable is I have yet to receive any correspondence regarding a refund or rescheduling since they have opened back up after trying to contact them numerous times. So at this point they have my money without providing the service which is really tasteless especially during a pandemic. read more

First and foremost, I wanna clear up that this review has little to no reflection on the shop or the artists there who actually have experience and treat their clients right. This review is about a guy named Joey Scollo who wasted my time, lied to me a handful of times, and then tried to charge me almost triple what he normally charges for the same type of tattoo. The tattoo idea was simple, a photo realistic tattoo of my dog. But even just this part was unclear as he asked me for photos, but didn't explain to me that he was gonna try to pick one specific photo for the tattoo. He picked a photo and I explained that I preferred a different photo but the image was blurry so I went home to take more pictures. This part was understandable. However, when I finally had an image picked out that I was happy with, he made a lame excuse, tried to convince me that the image wouldn't make a good tat, and then he tried to compromise with the original blurry photo. At this point, I already lost a lot of trust with him, so I reached out to a friend who has way more experience than him and I also happened to meet another experienced artist at a local pink tie event. Both artists told me that the image I wanted would make a beautiful tattoo and that there was literally nothing wrong with it. When I told Scollo this, he came up with another lame excuse that made absolutely no sense, and continued to push me towards the original blurry photo. So far in the story, he already lied to me at least 3 different times and his excuses just kept getting weaker and weaker.. he must have thought I was really stupid or something because at no point did he try to keep it real or transparent with me. Naturally, I backed out. So I picked up my deposit, he gave one more feeble attempt to defend his opinion when I saw him but I pretty much just ignored him completely and left. This is where it gets even better! The very next day, this guy posts on Instagram that he has a special of 150$-200$ for animal realism type tattoos. He told me my price was between 400-500$. Not only did this guy lie to me and waste my time, but he tried to charge me almost triple his going rate... I've never been tattooed. This guy clearly tried to take advantage and made a complete fool of himself in the process. I hope whoever is reading this stays away! Don't do business with this guy. Don't even waste your time. This guy is clearly an amateur and a liar. This is not how you treat people, especially someone who is new and excited to get their first tat. I hope my experience with this guy prevents future bad experiences. read more

Undead rocks. Recently got my first tattoo with these guys. My artist Edgar made it such an awesome experience. I got there 30 min before my appointment and Edgar was ready for me. He explained the process, gave his input on the art, and made me feel confident. He even helped revise my design to be consistent with future tattoos and to create a "flow." I really appreciated his guidance and suggestions considering this is going to be on my skin for life. We decided to go with color in my design. We did the line work first, stopped and had lunch (shout out to the awesome owner who treated me AND his staff to some killer burgers). Next we proceeded with the color. I got my tattoo on my inner bicep, a sensitive spot but I got through it. Felt like a total weenie considering everyone around me was covered in ink haha. But Edgar and the staff made me feel right at home. Shoutout to Derek too! Can't wait to go back for more ink! read more
