This review isn't so much of the school, although I love it, but moreover of the Newark facility…read more(rankings of the programs should be found on alternate sources). Pro's: 1-it's location within Newark is an easy on/off from 280 (or whatever the main highway is that runs through/by Newark). The building is in good shape, meaning the classrooms in some cases are newer or newly renovated, there is a cafe downstairs, the first 3 floors are accessible by stairs and there are elevators to all of the floors. The best part: there is a PSE&G rooftop garden with flowers, tables, chairs and a view! Con's: the rooftop garden is only open during the week during the day, there's only one entrance (don't forget your photo ID or they won't let you in), there's only one entrance, not much street parking, and the cafe closes early at night in the summer and is closed on weekends!

The Meadowlands Environment Center did a nice job…read moreat having vendors displaying wildlife information, children's interactive stations, and items for sale. I was amazed at how many people attended this free event and how many went into the Meadowlands, in order to view the eagles. There were many with professional camera equipment, huge binoculars, and very knowledgeable with ALL of the wildlife throughout the area. During the morning viewing, there were two huge eagles flying. We were told, that they feed on the eels and small animals. As far away as the eagles were perched on the tall transmission towers, they were visible with the naked eye.... that's how large they are. I recommend that everyone attend this Eagle Fest for many reasons. You'll receive a lot of eagle facts, history of the area, and will interact with many avid bird watchers, that left me in awe.

Many newly paved trails to walk along the marshlands, and boardwalk. And very relaxing with stunning views of NYC skyline. We spotted an alligator, 2 eagles, countless egrets, ducks, finches, starlings, hummingbirds, and many other birds I do not exactly know the names of. :) Plenty of parking, dog friendly, beautiful flowers, and absolutely a nature oasis for birding. I reached out to Hack N Craft NJ (Jon). He responded to my initial inquiry in a timely manner, and always communicated with me with kindness and clarity. I brought my 3D printer to Jon, in its incomplete state of construction. Jon quickly figured out where I had gone wrong and got the printer up and running in short order. He then provided a crash course in 3D printing for my son and me. Throughout this process, Jon's excitement and enthusiasm for 3D printing was both obvious and contagious. He impressed me as quite knowledgeable in all things related to 3D printing. This center also has a small cafeteria that is open Monday to Friday where you can get breakfast and lunch and snacks and drinks if you're taking a long test and don't want to bring a bag lunch. Plenty of room to sit and eat too. As of 8/20/18 - they will be doing construction on/near the Lincoln Tunnel and will be closing a lane on each side. Depending on where you're coming from and how far, plan your route accordingly as to avoid traffic.
