AKA The Bat Cave…read more.... Came here in October as a recommendation from a colleague. Brought the kids here with the impression that all we were going to do was feed bats. Tickets were purchased in advanced online. This made checking in easy. We walked in and was greeted right away. As we approached the animals in the first room, we were informed of the type of animal and it's name. We got to feed some tortoise here. Into the second room to our surprise we found two pigs that we also got to feed. By far the friendliest pigs ever. They loved to eat but also loved rubs! The final room was the grand finale. Here they had cages with plenty of bats that we also got to feed. The feeding of these bats was truly a one of a kind experience. Aside from the animal smell which was expected as they are animals, we had a fun time! Everyone there was so informative and had great knowledge of every animal and/or reptile we had questions on.

The area around the field is mostly residential, and the parking lots on school grounds are small so they fill up quickly. The field does not have lighting so all games are played during daylight hours, but on the bright side, their scoreboard is very nice state-of-the-art technology. No instant replay though, which is not unusual for high school sports. Concessions are reasonably priced and service is fast - a well oiled machine. I ordered a meatball sub, a hot dog and a bag of chips for $12 - easy on the pockets - and the sandwich was delicious and cheesy.

The space is creatively laid out with a play area for kids under 2 (ball pit, small piano, little plastic horse rides, cushions, small slide...) and it was colorful but a bit too crowded with toys. The next space was a dance area with PLENTY of room for adults and kids to hang out and dance; the tv is a huge one made of 6 smaller TVs and hooked up to an Xbox with Kinect dance for kids. Right across from there are three partitioned areas: one for legos, one for dress up (more girly pink colors) and the third is a kitchen/ grocery store with shopping carts, food items, pots and pans. Beyond the little play areas, there is more interactive play with three huge slides for bigger kids, a little train for kids to ride and push each other and an entire area dedicated for big competitive kids who can use the plastic balls to load up and point and shoot them (low impact) across from each other upstairs. The guns are stationary but they do make loud noise. My two year old got scared when he was standing underneath. Overall, A+ on the design and creativity of play. But the place wouldn't run smoothly if it was packed. Service is definitely lacking and no one was checking on safety. Some kids were unattended. Also, the cafe personal pizza ($5) is tiny! Don't think it's an actual personal sized pizza. If you kid eats a bit, it wouldn't satisfy him/ her for sure. Also, bathroom stalls need to be updated; some don't lock. Parking was very impacted as well! I had to park on the other side of the building and walk on the street around. Maybe they need an entry way to be available on that side for convenience. My son had a good time but they need to work on a few things.

My favorite thing about this place is the warm and friendly environment that is evident immediately when you walk in the door. It was hard to leave a 3 month old baby with anyone, but I completely trusted teachers in the infant room. As a first time mom, I also learned a lot from Ms. Maria - they are all AMAZING! The director, Ms. Vicki, and all the other teachers, Ms. Rudi, Ms. Nia, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Adela and Ms. Klaudia, in the toddler classes are all wonderful with both of my kids.
