I just sit back relax and let her work her magic. Everyone in the shop is cool and welcoming. Have recommended friends/family here and now they bring their own kids here. This shop is like family we can talk, laugh, crack jokes, it's one of those fun atmospheres where you feel comfortable to just be yourself. During my one and only visit in this barbershop, I 100% felt like an outsider. It definitely seemed to be like a bunch of regulars that go to the shop and outsiders really aren't welcome. The barber that helped me was not very friendly at all. It was very middle of the road. Basically did my haircut in silence and paid to leave. It's very ironic I got an email almost the same week that I had scheduled another appointment with my barber. For the last 3 1/2 years and for every single big life moment i've gone to a different barbershop for EVERY haircut. So to receive a message after all this time seems incredibly peculiar. We offered him lunch, a drive, an adventure .... whatever he wanted to do to celebrate. At first, he said he didn't want to do anything. Then his face lit up. He really wanted a shave & a haircut. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon. This kind barber had tattoos & lips tattooed on him. This kind man was so gracious & talented. He listened to Dad & the way they interacted was simply sweet. Dad's eyebrows were also trimmed as well as a few nose hairs. Dad's transformation is getting glowing reviews on my FB page. I want you to see the transformation as well.
