One of the reasons I've always came here was because, I have NEVER been disappointed with a cut. I've tried multiple barbers and shops in the area and Sonya has ALWAYS slayyeeedddd my cut. I just sit back relax and let her work her magic. Everyone in the shop is cool and welcoming. Have recommended friends/family here and now they bring their own kids here. This shop is like family we can talk, laugh, crack jokes, it's one of those fun atmospheres where you feel comfortable to just be yourself. All barbers are family, they all do such a great job, I personally get my cut by Sonya but as for everyone else, I see everyone's work and they ALL DO GREAT! 10

I had an outstanding experience today at The Surgeons Barbershop in Moorpark (111-C Poindexter…read moreAve). From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and dialed in. I booked a full service--haircut, beard trim, and a hot towel straight razor finish--and it did not disappoint. Ivan took care of me, and he absolutely nailed it. His attention to detail, precision, and overall craftsmanship really stood out. You can tell he takes pride in his work. On top of that, Ivan is a Marine veteran and a father of four, which just adds to the respect I have for him. Great guy, great conversation, and even better service. If you're in the Moorpark area and want a top-tier cut and experience, I highly recommend The Surgeons Barbershop--ask for Ivan. You won't be disappointed.

I don't know what is worse having an OK experience at the barbershop or receiving an unsolicited…read moretext message and an email from the barbershop I've used once in the last four years. During my one and only visit in this barbershop, I 100% felt like an outsider. It definitely seemed to be like a bunch of regulars that go to the shop and outsiders really aren't welcome. The barber that helped me was not very friendly at all. It was very middle of the road. Basically did my haircut in silence and paid to leave. It's very ironic I got an email almost the same week that I had scheduled another appointment with my barber. For the last 3 1/2 years and for every single big life moment i've gone to a different barbershop for EVERY haircut. So to receive a message after all this time seems incredibly peculiar. I feel like it was worthwhile to actually post a review because I was so indifferent to this shop. However, I definitely have a problem getting a text message and an email almost 4 years later after using the shop once! I immediately made sure to unsubscribe, but that's really disappointing. Just because you send a text message receipt doesn't mean you should bother customers years later when they haven't visited your shop ever again.

I've been going to The Craft for 2 years now and before then, it was a tedious trial and error…read moreprocess to find a good barber shop. The Craft offers a welcoming atmosphere that is friendly, respectful, chill, and most importantly, professional. Any barber who works here will provide you with a quality cut, friendly conversation, and make sure you are feeling and looking good before you leave. Their prices may be above average compared to your local franchise like Supercuts, but I guarantee that this family-run barber shop makes up for the extra cost from the work they put in and this is truly what sets them apart. The Craft is about providing a family friendly experience to customers where they can relax, forget about their stress, and enjoy a quality cut. There is no better employee that embodies this more than Art. I've chosen Art to be my barber for over a year now because of his focus, calming nature, and patient approach to cutting hair. Each time I'm in his chair, I feel like I'm getting the most important cut of my life. He takes his time making sure that everything is cut perfectly and will line you up with style as he makes you feel like a million bucks. I've never met another barber who consistently pays such close attention to detail with every cut. It's refreshing to see how passionate and serious Art takes his work considering how goofy the friendly banter can get in a men's barber shop. I would not have written this review 2 years ago as The Craft back then had a very different team dynamic and vibe. Now, I can confidently recommend The Craft as the best Men's barber shop in Camarillo. Their team is solid, communication is prompt, and customer satisfaction guaranteed. Guillermo's management and leadership has crafted a team of respectful young men who provide quality service and respect to their community and it has truly shown. If you're looking for a new barber shop, check out The Craft in Camarillo. You will not be disappointed. Hubby called to see if they could fit him in. They said sure. Come on over. We did. I want to give a shout out to the man who shaved & cut Dad's hair. I will add his name soon.
