Hawaiian pizza, Veggie Lovers Combo Pizza
Shashi W.

The pizza was really good! We were able to split our pizza to 2 different specialties! Veggie and Hawaiian! Pizza was really good when hot! Would definitely go again, we did carry out but the store looked really cozy would definitely need to go back to and dine in! Workers were really helpful when ordering!

Thick crust

I'm sorry to be this disappointed in a pizza. I orders off yelp 2 mediums one small and came out to $77.00. I have no problem paying that much for a pizza if it was good. I ordered two medium thin crusts with extra cheese and a small thick crust. The look and presentation of the pizza was much better than the taste. There was by no means any flavor in the crust. It tasted like matza pizza to say the least. There was definitely no extra cheese on any of the pizzas in my opinion so the 2 bucks up-charge for each was pointless The delivery was good but I was a little frustrated that the grub hub app showed my order was in progress event till after the delivery which did not let me dispute the unnecessary charges for the extra cheese. Overall, I was disappointed because I had been craving pizza for 3 days and this pizza did not satisfy my cravings. This place is for someone who wants to try a "specialty" pizza place with a not so traditional crust or dough taste. The thin crust rises kind of like a croissant does with air pockets so it looks like there's a mountain of cheese compared to the crust but that's just not the case. It looked the part just didn't taste the part. Sorry.

To give you an idea of what the pizza looks like. Not my favorite, tbh. Thin floppy skin, not chewy and kind of oddly smooth at the bottom.

My experience was a bit bizarre. I placed an order through Grubhub at 10:38 AM scheduled for an 11:30 AM delivery. This timing was critical because I only had a 15 minute gap in-between meetings to receive the food. Well, by 11:40 AM the food had not arrived. I called the restaurant directly and the nice gentleman that picked up apparently had no idea about my order. After sounding confused for a while and repeatedly saying my name as if he were searching for order in their system, he asked if he could put me on hold. Not a good sign. He gets back in the phone and says, "Yup. We got your order." When I asked where it was, he told me the driver wasn't there (at the store) and so he thinks it's on the way? Maybe he's almost there? Yes he phrased those statements as a questions to me. So I walk out to the parking lot to wait. I'm now late for my 11:45 AM meeting. At 11:50 AM, 20 minutes past my scheduled delivery time, a confused man looking like Uncle Tony himself drives slowly through my parking lot and yells from an older unmarked car, "Delivery???" from his driver's window. Mind you this is taking place is a business parking lot with customers around. It's a good thing I went out to wait for him, because heaven knows if he would have even texted me upon arrival, which is what the instructions said to do for my order. The food...it's ok. I got a large 3 topping pizza. It was not a bad price, at $14.19, but the crust isn't my favorite. It's thin, but floppy, not chewy and oddly smooth on the bottom. It's ok. The salad was good (mixed leaves, tomato, carrots, croutons, and cheese) and a good portion for an $8 salad. Undecided if I'll give them another try, to be honest. Maybe for a salad?

Fries

Very disappointed, and very pricey. I ordered the chicken garlic pizza with thin crust. Super thick crust no flavor ,really dried out not saucy at all.... Also ordered french fries. The french fries were undercooked without seasoning . Won't be ordering again. Shoulda picked up a frozen CPK garlic chicken pizza instead of wasting 33$

Spicy Hawaiian Pizza (before sauce) @hybrideater

Uncle Tony is a winner in the pizza space! Absolutely loved my spicy hawaiin pie! I love their take on Hawaiin pizza because they use hot sauce and bacon as well as the usual pineapple and bacon. The crust was so yummy I can't wait to try other pizzas here. Very satisfying experience overall. Make sure to grab some ranch for dipping :)

Canned mushrooms. WTH

I use to love ordering from this place due to the fresh ingredients. Unfortunately this time we ordered pepperoni and mushrooms. They used can mushrooms. WTH. So disappointed. Quality has gone down.

Knowing it's flown in from Italy daily sounds like a gimmick, but once you try it, you get it. The texture is unreal--perfectly al dente and way different from your typical spot. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and the Carbonara, and both were incredible. The Cacio e Pepe was simple but ridiculously flavorful, and the Carbonara was rich without being too heavy. You can tell they focus on doing a few things really well instead of overcomplicating the menu. Service was fast and efficient, and the whole place has a clean, modern vibe. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but turnover is quick so it's not a dealbreaker. If you're a pasta person, this spot is a must. Easily one of the best casual Italian meals in LA.

The food and the experience were excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly and gave us some great recommendations to start the night. We began with the house bread, which was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and served with balsamic and olive oil. Simple and delicious. Next up was their homemade Caesar salad. Instead of traditional croutons they use toasted crumbs, and honestly it was a game changer. The texture worked perfectly with the dressing. For our mains we had the Dover sole piccata which was bright, buttery, and exactly what we were craving, along with the seafood linguine that was rich and flavorful. We wrapped things up with a cappuccino cheesecake and an Americano which was the perfect way to end the meal. Great service, great food, and a really enjoyable dinner overall. 10/10 recommend. PS: The playlist was hitting perfectly.

The food does that on its own. This isn't "typical" Italian. The ingredients are high quality, the preparations are thoughtful, and you can taste the care in every dish. There's a real sense that the owner-chef is cooking food he believes in. We had the bolognese and the arrabbiata, plus an antipasto salad with everything finely julienned -- simple detail, big impact. Excellent across the board, right down to the bread. And the prices? They feel like they're from another decade. This meal easily outcompetes most Ventura Blvd spots without the pretense or inflated bill. And Justin the server is just super - we will be back. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did.

For food to come it is about a 40min wait, normal timing. The only thing that did come to the table was the charcuterie board beautifully presented. Only issue is that was not written was that there was pecans. I only get the allergies if I eat the nut, so I went around the areas that are not touched. I ordered the tagliatelle al pesto, I searched it up myself after and yes the dish has pine nuts but on the menu it never stated there was pine nuts. So I was unable to eat that dish.
