    Vegan peanut butter soft serve

Absolutely my favorite place for ice cream! We drive to this town versus staying in our own! The owner and workers are so kind and I love that they have a dairy free soft serve option that is not a sorbet...we always say "wow, we love this place".

Ice cream cake. Real cake and ice cream so good.

The collab between Crust and Dairyland is a perfect match for the perfect ice cream cookie sandwich. It's a quick stop off the highway and the drive thru makes it an easy rest stop to take between Southern Michigan and your trip Up North. Clean bathrooms and friendly service make this place a little piece of gravel in Fenton.

couldn't speak more highly of Uncle Ray's! Between Dave's endless smiles and constant presence, you truly feel like family the moment you walk in. The staff treats you like gold, always kind and welcoming. And let's talk about the ice cream--served three different ways and every single one is excellent. You can tell they put real love into what they do. Oh, and don't miss the awesome putt-putt course! It's the perfect bonus to a sweet outing. Uncle Ray's is a five-star experience through and through.

Delicious homemade ice cream, and lots of choices of sundaes, soft serve, frozen yogurt, malts, shakes, etc. I just enjoyed a scoop of black cherry ice cream. Tasty, but pricey. Owner Dave was out greeting people, very friendly and outgoing. We had folks from Ohio and St. Louis, and Dave was familiar with the ice cream places in our respective home towns. Also a nice little 18-hole putt-putt golf course next to the parking lot. Lady at the golf course said you could win up to $50 in prizes.

Still the best around! We drive over forty minutes to enjoy these delicious hand made ice creams! Always friendly and a fun place to sit and talk.

Was craving Ice cream early this morning with my family, After an early morning of work. We noticed they were closed and about to leave when the assistant manager called us over and served us with a smile. Always appreciate the friendly gesture from the workers here

I don't know how it took me so long to discover this place! I love that they make their own ice cream and that they partner with local businesses such as Crust for the homemade ice cream sandwiches. Another local fav. I tried the vanilla soft serve which was delicious It reminded me of frozen custard in the consistency. There's plenty of choices to choose from almost too many. My brain went bonkers. I also tried the flavor of the month which was key thyme cheesecake which was phenomenal. It was super tart waffle cone was homemade and there were large chunks of cheesecake in it. Fabulous! My son got the Oreo shake which he loved. There's plenty of outdoor parking and seating with a mini golf course right next door. It looks like there might be an inside although it was closed the day I was there. Also there was a drive-thru but it was closed. The service was super fast and very friendly and the prices were on point. It's about 20 minutes one way from my house and I've since made the trip multiple times. The ice cream truly is delicious. Also in the outdoor seating area there is a television so you can spend some time and just chill.

This place is quite big for an ice cream shop. They have a walk up window, indoor area as well as a drive-through available. The inside dining area is not open right now for ordering. It's only the walk up window and the drive-through available now. They have one window for ordering and another for pick up at the walk up window. This place has been here for 42-43 years, are used to be at Halo Burger in the back part, but that's gone. The turbo baby blast looks pretty with Oreos and Reese's. I got a turbo baby blast with Oreos, Heath, Reese's and snickers too, because more the merrier, right? You can get your blast with either vanilla, chocolate or a twist of both. I defaulted to the vanilla. It would probably be even sweeter with the chocolate ice cream. Each candy is an extra $0.50 after the first included candy. The staff here are all really friendly and pleasant to work with. Jeremy is the friendliest, such a warm soul. They have a nice little queue set up for the counter, it feels like you're at a fun theme park. They also have a mini golf place next door. Turbo baby blasts are so cute, it really was a perfect amount of ice cream and candy too. Nice dessert after some spicy Korean food. I like the solo containers, with the top. It allows them to fill it up and makes it easy to eat out of it too. I can see how this place would get excessively busy in the summer and warmer weather. That must be why they have the guidelines for the queues. The drive-through line was starting to get long as we left.

Do they offer a non-dairy, non-soy option ice cream? Something coconut, almond or oat based, even a pre-packaged ice cream is fine.

I stopped in here last weekend for the first time ever. I was really looking forward to it, but something about the place just seemed off. Maybe it was the somewhat off-putting teenagers behind the counter who were texting, maybe it was the "do it yourself" concept, basically an Old Country Buffet type of place for frozen yogurt, or maybe it was the debris left on two random tables that hadn't been cleaned off yet. I don't know. At any rate, I was completely willing to give it a shot, despite my initial misgivings. As I said, the concept is entirely self-serve. You pick out the type of container you want, flavors, toppings, etc and take it up to the counter, where they weigh it. The price is factored in solely by weight. I'm not really sure how I feel about that, but anyway, it's how they do it. It apparently has nothing to do with the choices/number of toppings or flavors, just the weight of the contents. After paying, I found a table and dug in, really looking forward to some tasty frozen yogurt. What I got was kind of hit or miss and it had nothing to do with the combination of flavors I chose and how they complimented each other (or didn't) with the toppings. Nope. To me, most of the flavors tasted somewhat artificial and not at all authentic. Between my husband and myself, I had managed to try at least five different frozen yogurt flavors. The sea salt caramel pretzel tasted nothing like it should. It was pretty flat and boring, without even a hint of caramel. Where was the caramel? Where was the sea salt? Heck, where was the pretzel flavor? I definitely do not know. The cake pop yogurt was okay, a little flat, but otherwise quite middle of the road, but the espresso tasted very little like real espresso or any coffee-flavored frozen yogurt that I've had before. It didn't resemble a coffee flavor in any way. It just wasn't particularly good. The tahitian vanilla was great and was the one flavor that tasted pretty much like what it should. I wish my dish had more of that and less of the other flavors. I would have been happier, that's for certain, but that's on me. As for the white chocolate mousse, it didn't strike me much as white chocolate, but it was fine, it just didn't taste like white chocolate. I just so happen to love white chocolate and even devoted an entire layer of my wedding cake to the flavor, but this didn't really fulfill my yen for white chocolate mousse. Like I said, it was fine, but a little inauthentic. Now, onto the toppings bar. Well, they had a great variety of both dry and fruit toppings, as well as flavored syrups and whip creme, but the dry toppings seemed kinda stale. Maybe they were left in their dispensers too long or they've gone stale because of oxidation? I'm not sure, but the dry toppings were a bit of a letdown. I should have gone with more fruit toppings instead. As for the price, it's a little on the high side for what you're getting. I mean, the flavors didn't wow me and most of them tasted eerily similar to each other. I expected a little more from this location. At any rate, my husband liked the place enough to sign up for a rewards card, so I'm sure I'll give it another chance. Next time, I'll stick to the fruit toppings and limit my yogurt flavor choices to probably the tahitian vanilla.
