Since it was lunch time we went back in the corner of the store where you order. Quaint little spot where an Amish woman took our order. I had their Tuesday special a cheeseburger and fries and my wife their chicken salad on Texas toast. Only took 5 min. to make and went to the front of the store where they have seating. Everything was excellent the burger had so much flavor the fries were crispy but not over done. My wife's chicken salad sandwich was thick with chicken salad on toasted Texas toast. With a can of Coke our order came to 12.50. Not bad for two of us. Before leaving we did get the groceries we originally had stopped for. Not bad prices on their meats so we stocked up on steaks cold meat and a few pounds of brats. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by and enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch and get ya a few groceries.

We most likely will make another trip there late winter/early spring as well. Wished they had an active website with current prices on everything, I do like to plan ahead to have plenty of cash on hand for everything we like to get or perhaps to add to our list. The bread literally was still YEASTY or "wet" my fingers melted in it lol!!! It felt like I was touching raw dough. Inside of the sub had plastic melted cheese that peeled off in one gross piece from "processed gristly" meatballs (the 2 bites I took) with no sauce. I took pictures I wish I could post so i don't look crazy. I typically never go out of my way for reviews unless they're actually "good" but this was so SO disappointing. I DID order a chicken salad (thinking it was a green salad w chicken on it lol) and it was actually a mixed canned chicken and mayo salad to put on crackers lol, that was MY fault BUT I was starving at this point, I mean it's shredded chicken in mayo w tiny bits of celery no seasoning so..it was edible but bland. I browsed the extensive cheese and meat selections, all of the candy, and some of the baked goods in the center. I left with cheese curds, meat sticks, and a plastic clamshell of root beer barrels.
