They said they had fun and was supposed to be the week before but my son got a fever and the staff was accommodating and rescheduled our party for the following week. The young lady working behind the counter did well with 5 hyped up 12 year olds and got them set up and even gave them an extra 10 mins because they were so close to solving the clues. Facility was very clean with a handful of couches if you are waiting around.

Breakout Games was a fun location for a team activity while on a recent business trip to STL. The…read moreroom was easy to book online in advance and check in for our party went smoothly. Spoiler alert, our team did not escape. But, our host Jonathan was helpful in providing clues when we asked and told us what we had missed when time ran out. All in all, it was a fun event! My only comment for future guests is that while our reservation allowed up to 8 people, 8 was a little tight once we got into the room. Based on the room size and activities you need to complete, you're probably better off with groups of 4-6.

We think the optimal group is 6 with 3 starting in the first two rooms. This room was more challenging than the Diamond Heist but both were great fun ! We highly recommend parking in the parking garage just south of the building. Do not confuse the parking with the parking lot for the apartment complex a block south of the building. This was probably our 15th escape room and one of the best in the St Louis area. Mastermind is cleaner and a better designed venue than most.

I was only with one other person and the two of us were able to solve the mystery with just three minutes to spare. We did ask a couple clarifying questions and the worker was extremely helpful. It was a great experience. The set was adorable. You could see some wear and tear on the space/objects but nothing that impacted the game or experience. I would love to come back in the future with another person or a small group.

We were intent on going to Escape from St. Louis so we could head to The Blue Duck for dinner after. When times disappeared from the booking I decided to call and see what we could do. On speaking with the manager, after closing the bookings to allow for maintenance she indicated she thought she could still get us in so we could have our family night. She made it happen! The five of us arrived at the allotted time and our hostess was ready to go, explaining the process and getting us going. We had a GREAT time! Fun Wizard theme, great clues, we loved some of the tricks when we figured them out. We 'Escaped' with just seconds to spare, thanks, in part, to our great hostess and clues. Can't wait to go back and try a different Escape! The takeaway is great management, great staff, fun rooms, book your Escape here :)

You get the option of doing an escape room or game room, so we went with the latter. My friend coordinated sending out the waivers ahead of time so we wouldn't have to do it when we got there. On the day of the event, I was the first to arrive and the others in my party trickled in. Note, your entire party must be on time and present before they bring you back. Once we were brought back, they split us up between our party and a different party in order to pay the game. We had the "chip" pick our games for us, which stemmed from trivia, to having to build something, spinning the wheel and etc. I had way more fun that I imagined, not just from the games, but the charisma from the host and the camaraderie/competition from our team to the other. We played several games and they go rather quickly so you wont ever worry about being bored. I enjoyed the trivia games the most because the questions def made you think and I liked the format of the games. This would be great for team-building, friends, or etc. I'll def be back because I had such a great time!
