We came here for a birthday party celebration and we had a blast! We had about 12 people at our party so we could split the group and go head-to-head against each other. This is well set up like you're on the family feud playing a variety of games that you don't even know what's gonna be coming your way. It was so much fun. I can't say that enough. The staff that work here are dedicated, friendly, and quite entertaining. I love sharing this experience with so many and hope that they go down there and do the great big game show as well

I came here with my cousins after couple of weeks ago and we had a great time! Our host did a great job with our group even though she was a little too young to get many of our nickname jokes. There, there Gen Z, we still love you. Lol We played against a smaller group, and played the stacking game, the "Are you smarter than a 5th grader-esque" game, blindfolded pictionary, a nerf-gun game, and the big wheel. The blindfolded dictionary gave was really hard but a lot of fun! There was a plinko-like game that we didn't play because we chose the pictionary game. Everything was fun eventhough our team had an advantage being that it was 6 of us vs 3 of the other team. We win abs the confetti was great! I highly recommend Great Big Game Show. It's fun for all ages and great for families, a date, or friends outing. Plus, there's discounted prices during the week.

Our group and fantastic host!

This place is amazing! We had so much fun playing the different games and activities during our session. The host was incredibly engaging, making the game interesting and a blast! It is relatively inexpensive for the length of the session and the entertainment value. The check in process was super smooth. This place would be perfect to take a large group (there were the two of us, and the remaining players were part of a large group). My team ultimately won, but our opponents had a blast as well. I highly recommend, and would definitely do this again!

The drinks provided were interesting. (See pic) Overall- this was a worthwhile time.

About half of us had done an escape room before, so we could compare differences to how Adventures of Intrigue worked. Here's the feedback: Adventures of Intrigue is really great for those that want to do an escape room without the heavy pressure/competition. Which for my family, is very fitting. It's also a WAY better option for kiddos, and seemed like some of the options were catered to kids, which is awesome. Our only complaint is we would have loved one that was really hard. The Save the Queen was rated as pretty difficult, and it still seemed pretty easy for those of us who do puzzles regularly! I don't want to compete, but I do want to be challenged. With that, the way they set things up was SO FUN and unique. Whoever thought of this has such a cool imagination. We loved searching around and finding all the little details. They did a fantastic job with setting the building up, I can't wait to see what else they add. After our escape room, we did an hour in the live video game room. They had cameras tracking our activity so we could pay games physically. Holy moly this place is COOL. Another unique concept that was a freaking blast. The workers were all so kind and fun, and really seem like they love their jobs. Such a cool spot for adults or kids alike. Highly recommend to everyone.

Our Sunday group was a combination of a family of three, a mom and her young son and my group of 4 adults. The instructor had some excellent axe puns and humor- but his actual instruction was somewhat lacking. He never landed a single axe in the target during his demonstrations. The target area is a bit like a short archery range, two targets in each range and it had two ranges. It's a large fenced in area to prevent the occasional wild flying axe and a plywood back with more wooden targets overlaid on it with cement floors. We were instructed on how to do a two handed and one handed throw and then we played games to test our skills. I really did enjoy throwing an axe at some wood and that satisfying thud when I would land one in to the target. Overall I had a great time and I would love to go again with the right group of people. Things that disappointed me slightly were the axes themselves. They looked like inexpensive harbor freight hatchets that they didn't maintain or sharpen (hence the instructor not landing in the target when he demonstrated) The axes take a beating and when people are learning and they hit that cement floor- they get pretty banged up. I think they need to sharpen the ones they have or go out and get some new ones. The second thing that was mildly frustrating was the lack of food and beverages available. This is an athletic activity- you sweat, you move around. We did this for three hours and didn't have the opportunity to buy water. We had water in the car (thank goodness) but if you plan to do this grab a granola bar and some beverages. Ultimately I think this was a lot of fun - and I would love to do it again with a bit more planning and my group of friends.

I've been wanting to go here for decades for their Third Friday events, but I've somehow never made it. So getting to attend an event there was a great way to finally see the space. They have their own parking lot, which is a huge plus because parking in this area can sometimes be a little hairy. Once you walk inside, it's a big, open space that is set up for banquets and events. They host weddings and other types of gatherings, and there was plenty of room for everyone. They had high cocktail tables as well as lower tables where you could actually sit, and everything felt nice and roomy. I was also impressed with the acoustics. There was someone speaking on a microphone, and there was no annoying feedback or echo. You could actually hear what everyone was saying, which can be surprisingly hard to find in a large event space. The food at our reception was mostly finger foods--hummus, ranch, salsa, chips, pita bread, vegetables, what looked like couscous, a small salad in a cup, and fruit. Nothing was particularly spectacular, but it was good, easy-to-eat food for an evening reception. Now, the homemade cherry Coke was another story. WOW. I haven't had one that good in a long time! I definitely wasn't expecting that to be one of my favorite parts of the evening, but it was amazing. There was also beautiful glass artwork throughout the space, which I'm assuming was made right there at the studio. The decor really adds to the atmosphere and makes the venue feel unique. If you're looking for an event venue that is different from the typical banquet hall and has something interesting for everyone, I would definitely check out Third Degree Glass Factory. I'm not sure what other food options they offer for events, but the space itself was very nice, felt safe, had great parking, and I loved all of the glass artwork and decor. I'm just glad I finally made it here after all these years!

The class will have a handful of different courses, and participants are each assigned to prep one dish. At the end of the night the dishes are all pulled together and everyone eats a meal together. We have taken pizza throwing, a couple pasta making, a Great British Bake Off, and a "Low Country" seafood class. We have enjoyed all of them. A couple things to note. The quality of the classes can be hit or miss based upon the person organizing. Some have been absolutely fantastic, and others are just okay. No matter what I've still enjoyed myself. The classes are expensive, there is no way around that. However, for all of the classes you end up with a good meal and then some alcoholic beverage (mixed drinks or wine). So I view the $120-$160 per couple cost as the equivalent of a nice dinner, along with some entertainment and a fun activity. Some additional notes. The new facility on Manchester is just beautiful. It is a huge step up from the spot in Clayton. They also have a great selection of high end cooking/baking accessories that I highly recommend. Wrong. There were two simultaneous pasta classes going. Our group seemed to have no clear direction. There were two pasta rollers and each kept malfunctioning with the handles falling off. It was at this point one couple left. It only went downhill from there. My sister kept saying we should just leave but I wanted to learn how to make pasta! And I paid a lot for this class so i was going to learn! But I did not. The revolt began and people just began cooking on their own (which in the end turned out quite well!!) just so we could eat at some point. We could hear the other class drinking wine and sitting down to eat, and our lasagna wasn't even in the oven yet. Another ominous sign. Our chef was very kind but it was clear he was not ready for this. It was my second and last visit to the KC, I walked away with no additional skills. Waste of 3.5 hours (though the class was scheduled for only 2.5) and 65 bucks.
