Had a lot of fun here! I've never been to an escape room before so wasn't sure what the experience would be like. The worker was very helpful and got us in the room right away. I was only with one other person and the two of us were able to solve the mystery with just three minutes to spare. We did ask a couple clarifying questions and the worker was extremely helpful. It was a great experience. The set was adorable. You could see some wear and tear on the space/objects but nothing that impacted the game or experience. I would love to come back in the future with another person or a small group. read more

What a great time! Planning a family Escape night and trying to work the times to be able to dinner after. We were intent on going to Escape from St. Louis so we could head to The Blue Duck for dinner after. When times disappeared from the booking I decided to call and see what we could do. On speaking with the manager, after closing the bookings to allow for maintenance she indicated she thought she could still get us in so we could have our family night. She made it happen! The five of us arrived at the allotted time and our hostess was ready to go, explaining the process and getting us going. We had a GREAT time! Fun Wizard theme, great clues, we loved some of the tricks when we figured them out. We 'Escaped' with just seconds to spare, thanks, in part, to our great hostess and clues. I came here recently to try their new escape room with a group of 8 friends. Parking and check in were easy with good instructions given prior to entering. The new room was creative and challenging but not overwhelmingly so to make sure it's still enjoyable. We were able to escape with just a minute left which added to the excitement of the game. We enjoyed speaking to the owners and hearing about the creation of the room. Will definitely be back for other social outings or team building opportunities. read more

We did Carnival of the Cosmos as a family and it was wonderful. The premise was fun and the clues/puzzles had unique elements that we haven't seen before (our family has done many escape rooms.) Tiffany was our Game Master and she was great. She played along as our boss basically and would tells us not to do or not do certain things as HR (very on theme) to help us along and the hints were done so well because they did feel like hints instead of basically getting the answer to the puzzle to move on. read more

Booked this escape room for a girls trip in efforts of creating a team bonding experience. It was so much fun!! We had a large group of 13 so we split up into groups of 6 & 7 and were placed in 2 separate rooms--Carnival of the Cosmos and Murder at Denbrough Mansion. I was placed in the second room, Murder at Denbrough Mansion, and we managed to escape in 57 minutes! Ive done escape rooms in the past but never with a group of 6 or 7 people. It was challenging and interactive with enough clues to keep everyone engaged and doing something, which was my biggest concern with a larger group. Had an awesome time here doing their Murder at Denbrough Mansion room with friends about a month ago. I've only done 2 escape rooms in my life and enjoyed this one much more than the last one I did. I'm admittedly not the best at these and thankfully together me and my friends solved this one with literally less than a second to go lol! A couple of the answers to some of the clues were fantastic and, to me, very rewarding and fascinating. We plan to go back sometime and check out their other rooms. read more

Fun room my group of teenagers were able to solve. We had a few hints but it came together pretty well. We did the puzzle that was all in one room. It was like a game of clue. I have done three rooms here, and am doing another tomorrow night. This is my group's favorite place to do room escapes. They are friendly, professional, and fun. My favorite part about this place, and the reason that we always go back to this one is that they make it much easier and cheaper to book a whole room. To be honest, doing an escape room with strangers just doesn't sound fun to me in the slightest. It would just make me shy and anxious, and that's just not something I want to do. I am so grateful they allow us to book whole rooms at a reasonable price here. We've done Ghost Story (now closed - did not escape but still very fun), The Tomb (still open - my fave room we've ever done - we escaped!), Murder at Denbrough Mansion (this is their weakest and probably my least favorite room I've done overall, but that's okay! - did not escape), and we're doing WizardQuest tomorrow. We've also done two other rooms at other establishments, one in Florida and one here is St. Louis. Escape from St. Louis is pretty consistent in terms of fun, challenge, and cohesion. Everything makes sense, everything is a reasonable jump in logic. When we didn't escape and the solution was explained to us, it made sense. Finally, the best part about this place is that they feature their good-looking dog in all of their advertising and this makes me so happy. read more

Well worth the ticket price! This was one of five escape rooms I've been to and was probably one of my favorites. We did The Tomb with six people. They have creative clues and very unique, interesting setups. Host was extremely nice, and I would recommend to anyone new or old to escape rooms. Me and wife had an awesome experience here, chose the Egyptian themed room(which was the hardest by the way) and was stomped. The host was really good about helping if we wanted it, the point is really to have a great time and that we did. So if you want something a little different and prepared to put in your thinking caps, then try it out. read more

I took my Girl Scout troop for something fun and different. We had 5 14-15 year olds and 3 adults. We couldn't figure it out so we didn't escape but we had a great time trying. First time doing an escape room, great time with our family. We did the Egyptian room, which was a series of rooms full of locks and puzzles. My family is great at puzzles so we were able to escape in 46 minutes, but it was really a challenge. read more

We were all good sports, we didn't complain, we were determined to have fun, and we were very polite to the people running the place, but we just couldn't find anything positive to say about the experience.
