My professional was Marsha (hope I got that right), and she is the person to go-to. My situation was a bit more complex than in years past, so I said let's let an expert do this. She was friendly, understood that I know less than nothing about what I can and cannot deduct. I tried online, and maybe user error, but at the highest paid tier of that online one, I mentioned, they said I owe thousands. And she was able to help me navigate through it. Already booked for my 2024 return! I will say it's a bit of a spend and not what you need for a simple W-2 return, but if you want a max refund or just need help understanding your situation, go see these folks.
