Kermet Apio, Nancy Reed, Auggie Smith and Dwight Slade were the comics of the night and they were all funny as ish. There were drinks in the lobby and (you're gonna love this) they were letting us bring them in the auditorium. I have been to this place for performances before and not once was even water allowed. The tickets were $25 general admission and $55 VIP. The extra $30 got you entrance to the VIP party from 6-7:30 before the show, where you could meet the comics, have some dinner, and get two free drink tickets. There was also preferred seating for the VIP in the first few rows. To be completely honest I think next year I will go for the regular ticket as the VIP experience seemed "meh". I guess if you're for pre-funking with friends it's a good thing...but we arrived a bit late, food was just about gone and the line for drinks was so long that I would have rather had the $30 to spend downstairs at the GA bar. In the end it was a riot and I can't wait for next year.

So happens we caught the comedy show and there are some very funny up and comers in Seattle. Fair warning: it gets a bit raunchy and personal. However, the regulars seem to really dig this. We did get our chance to sing and it was a bit wild, in a good way. Great singers/horrible singers, most importantly, a supportive crowd. Pro Tip: Show up early and get your request for karaoke in. When I saw that Pauly was coming I couldn't believe it , but in my excitement I booked the wrong day. However the amazing staff rebooked Frank B to the correct day, THANK YOU! Don't was day of show and I showed early, they placed me dead center about 6ft from the man himself.... Ordered a tasty beverage from the bar and appetizer per the contract of the ticket... Now the food wasn't bad so if you're hungry make sure you grab a bite. The stage is very small but who cares it's enough for the comedian to pass around. I was a bit nervous with some of the recent negative reviews but I'm happy to say that I didn't have a bad experience at the Tacoma Comedy Club at all! When we entered, we were greeted by staff who explained how everything worked which I appreciated as they do mention the same information online but it is a good refresher. We were also given a card with our seat numbers on it which was interesting as I thought it was a first come first serve situation. They were doing happy hour when we arrived and we decided to get their 2 for $15 appetizers which we got the boneless wings with lemon pepper and pretzel bites with cheese. Happy hour orders do not count for their two item minimum, but we're fine with that as we arrived pretty early as we were pretty hungry. The food didn't take too long to arrive and it was delicious. I'm not really into boneless chicken as I just have had some bad ones but the ones here are tender and juicy and the lemon pepper rub was great! I'm sad that the veggies don't come with the happy hour order and I also was told that they don't come with veggies by the cashier, which was odd. The pretzel bites were also really good and the cheese dip that came with it was fantastic! As others arrived an employee asked us for the card and escorted us to our table, however as he was explaining the rules it was extremely hard to hear him due to the music. There's also a conference center complete with meeting rooms and large ballroom. Arena seating comfort is and the forward facing angle allows for a clear view of the main floor or stage. There are some concession stands serving hotdogs, popcorn, nachos, pizza, and drinks. They even have beer and cider. Pricing is on the higher end, which is expected. The arena is located in downtown Everett. Parking is available via Snohomish County Parking Garage, Republic Parking, Everpark Parking Garage, or street level.
