[556] This easy to…read morefind Hospital has plenty of paid parking in the garage. Entrance is thru the Sportsplex (aka gym) which is super cool. If I lived closer I would definitely be a member. The hospital is very clean and plenty of signs so you do not get lost. We walked past the cafeteria. Didn't eat but the layout is super cool and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Tons of comfortable places to sit and wait for your loved one. I rather not be in a hospital but if I did this would be my top choice.

Personally, I received decent treatment here both in the ER and in the room I was given. Granted I was at the ER at 6:30 am and it was empty. So I suppose I lucked out in that regard. The nursing staff was courteous. The doctors I saw though were not up to my standards. The dietary advice I got upon discharge from one of them turned out to be pretty inadequate upon further review after the fact. And at least one different doctor came into my room for all of two minutes, maybe listened to my heart, asked a couple of questions, and then billed my insurance for a visit. I swear some of these doctors just make rounds here to rack up billing. I could be wrong. But it left a bad taste in my mouth. I'd come here before I went to Taylor though. That's for sure.

Shout out to the CNA's who took care of my husband as well - his call bell was answered immediately! The one negative and needed improvement - housekeeping. His room had layers of dust, used towels and sheets were not picked up and would remain in bathroom or on floor. Always discarded trash on floor. Unfortunately this prevented a 5 star rating .

I didn't get the results in a timely fashion. In the interim, I am dealing with excruciating pain. Harvard Medical states "The pain of Trigeminal Neuralgia is recognized as one of the most excruciating forms of pain known". Penn has done nothing at this point to relieve my pain. I have been waiting for 3 weeks to get orders for an MRI with and without contrast. Despite calling the doctor repeatedly, the MRI has not been scheduled. Radiology has been wonderful; radiology is working to help me get an MRI scheduled. In the interim, my PCP who is not affiliated with Penn has prescribed Gabapentin 300mg three times a day. Were it not for my PCP, I can't even imagine the level of pain I would be experiencing. I am truly disheartened by the lack of care and concern by my doctor at Penn.

I have heard nothing from the hospital but they have billed my insurance already. When I call the attendant answering the phone offers to send an email to the MRI dept to request that they call me. She can't even offer whether the results have been read yet. Zero information. The very least they could have don eis notify me before they scheduled that t would be 2 MONTHS before I will receive the results. I find this to be severely negligent care. They knew I needed stat results but didn't bother to let me know that was patently impossible. Obviously they only care about ,only, not the patient. I will NEVER go there again, which doesn't matter to them. I could be dead by the time they get me the results, but they got their money!!!!
