My husband and I were told we owed $20,000 and that we would be audited. The delivery felt…read morecondescending and fear-based, and we were made to feel as though this CPA was doing us a favor by handling it. We were then asked for $10,000 down. After seeking a second opinion from another CPA, we were told that this information was false. That alone was enough to make us realize we could not trust the advice we were given. No client should be put in a position where they feel intimidated, pressured, and misled when seeking professional tax help. I would urge anyone dealing with a serious tax matter to get another opinion before handing over money.

Anyway I've been coming to Natalie for the past 5-6 years now and she is great. The office is no-frills but comfortable, and everyone who works here has a great attitude. More importantly, they are on point with taxes and treat you like a person, not a number. I will never go anywhere else, even if I move to another state. (They can do taxes in other states and even do other countries.) A++++++

I reached out to Eddy with Mathieu Accounting because of the great reviews, 2 days before Christmas, and he responded immediately while he was on vacation! He had me e-mail him my taxes to review them and knew instantly what the issue was with them. He gave me advice on how to resolve my issue with my taxes over the last couple of years and spent a good amount of time patiently explaining everything. I am so incredibly thankful as I have been overly stressed for some time now trying to get help from other companies to figure this out and no one wanted to be bothered. I hired Edwin Kerilus to file my taxes last year, but after checking my IRS account, I learned they…read morenever received it. I contacted Edwin to let him know, but he didn't provide an answer. I contacted a tax advocate. The tax advocate informed us that they sent three rejection emails to the preparer, at which point, he was supposed to notify us. I tried following up multiple times with Edwin to get some consolation, but he eventually stopped responding, ghosting me and my husband - rather than owning up to the mistake like a professional. I would have understood, but he chose to avoid the situation entirely. I don't know if he was embarrased, afraid to communicate, or just simply negligent, but this turned what could have been a very small, fixable issue into a much bigger problem. The IRS even recommended that I file a formal complaint. If you value clear communication and accountability, maybe look elsewhere. SOPHIA

At this time, I am working with him to rectify issues with this new policy, however Edwin has been nonresponsive and slow to move. I regret that my policy was forwarded to him. If you're looking for a dedicated agent I would advise you to look elsewhere.
