I hired Mark to help clean up some work left behind by a previous accountant. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being just as disappointing--if not worse. During what was supposed to be an active and ongoing engagement, Mark became completely unresponsive. There were no status updates, no clear next steps, and no transparency around the progress of the work. After months of emailing and calling Mark with no response, I asked my husband to reach out. Avery has been doing my personal and corporate taxes for over 23 years. He is helpful, informative, and detailed oriented. The staff is amazing. Gina, Avery's assistant, is on top of everything. She's so nice and makes sure your questions and messages get answered timely. Messages are always returned quickly and never over 24 hours. Located in the Center State Bank building facing Palmetto Park Road just west of Powerline, the office, conveniently has a private entrance from the parking lot, so you don't have to enter the main building. During Tax season, they work Monday - Saturday with a few weekday evenings. The inside of the office is pretty cool, there's some great signed memorabilia on the walls. With Covid, they are taking all precautions. I dropped off my paperwork, and Gina came outside, picked it up, and this year's appointment was scheduled on zoom, which was very convenient.
