When I send information I knew he had seen it because he would move it to a named folder, each time. Avery has been doing my personal and corporate taxes for over 23 years. He is helpful, informative, and detailed oriented. Patient and understanding, he has a complete grasp of the tax laws, and will explain everything in detail. He's personable, friendly and very helpful. Work is completed timely and accurately. The staff is amazing. Gina, Avery's assistant, is on top of everything. She's so nice and makes sure your questions and messages get answered timely. Messages are always returned quickly and never over 24 hours. Located in the Center State Bank building facing Palmetto Park Road just west of Powerline, the office, conveniently has a private entrance from the parking lot, so you don't have to enter the main building. During Tax season, they work Monday - Saturday with a few weekday evenings. The inside of the office is pretty cool, there's some great signed memorabilia on the walls. With Covid, they are taking all precautions. I dropped off my paperwork, and Gina came outside, picked it up, and this year's appointment was scheduled on zoom, which was very convenient. When the work was finished, Gina called, and scheduled a pick up time. It was so easy and painless! Lets face it, no one likes to pay taxes, but when you have someone doing the work that you trust, and know they always have your best interest at stake, it makes the whole experience a little bit easier. After months and months of waiting for a h IRS to respond we received a letter stating she indicated on the forms incorrect information and it had to be amended. She supposedly sent the amended return 3 times but could not provide any confirmation to us that she did. Finally when I spoke to an IRS rep they stated the reason there has been no update is that the numbers did not match our original return and the examiner had to disregard our paperwork. We have had an outstanding balance with the IRS which in 2023 she advised not to pay while we wait for the amended return to be accepted. We are now in collections had and have threatened leins from the IRS. We now have a new CPA who has to refile our amended return because it was done so incorrectly. Multiple areas of the form the were input wrong. GO FIND ANOTHER LICENSED CPA to help. Meanwhile we have to PAY the new cpa again to do all of this after actax happily took our money to do everything wrong.

It included…read morepaint selection, window treatments carpet, wall unit built in and new furniture . when I arrived in the Fall to supposedly my finished apt I found a disaster. $8000 carpet that was ruined by her installer. $11,000 in window treatments that didn't operate and the apartment which was supposed to be painted completely ---unfinished and a very unprofessional job. These were all contractor's engaged by Wendy that she was responsible for overseeing. But the worst was the $15,000 wall unit that was built in my bedroom where I stressed the importance of my desk area. There was not a single outlet available on that wall to plug in anything so they had to chop up the wall unit so that I could plug in my computer. Wendy was nowhere to be found. While she responded to my emails and texts, she never came back over to the apartment once I arrived to assist in getting any of this resolved. In addition, she attempted to bill me for hours spent looking at furniture before consulting with me. Her "design product" consisted of a bunch of screenshots from Perigold. I immediately fired her and took over the work-- i don't believe Wendy is professionally trained at any level Certainly her care about her clients is lacking. Felt like she would just get away with whatever she could.
