Priority seems to be what is best for Kaplan not his clients. I asked about solar credit for a secondary house he did not know the correct answer and just guessed and when I corrected him he refused to admit he was wrong. He requests to be paid monthly in advance so if you decide not to use his services he will ghost you if you request a refund ! read more

So I had two complicated issues that should have had me hire a CPA to begin with. I qualified for a special tax situation within New York State, but I had also moved to New York City from Jersey City. Naturally, I'm arrogant enough to think that I could just tackle it myself. Many TurboTax upgrades, a letter from NYS, and many hours on the phone- I realize that I should have definitely hired a CPA.
