I cannot say enough good things about Matthew and his team. Deadline was a few days away and I had some complexities that I needed taken care of this year that was out of my area of knowledge. Spoke with Matthew, explained everything to him. He was extremely patient listening to everything. Sent him all my docs and within a day he had everything taken care of. The numbers were exactly what I was expecting. His team is fantastic as well. Spoke with Delvis who needed a little info from me while finishing up my taxes. Everyone there is EXTREMELY knowledgable when it comes to taxes and they put my mind at ease so I did not need to worry about it being filed correctly. They also spent the time answering all my questions after it was filed. His prices aren't the cheapest, but then again, you get what you pay for. I used Mr Abrams to file our taxes last year (Feb 2017) and he was very professional, taking the time to explain everything and really looking for the best way for my wife and I to benefit. He also gave us recommendations on how to LEGALLY lower our tax withdrawals throughout the year so that we would have higher take home pay. His costs were extremely reasonable and a far better value than a HR Block, Jackson Hewitt, etc. Finally he was willing to work with our time constraints and stayed open an extra 45 minutes to meet with us and even then he didn't rush anything. Located in Hollywood where I live so after seeing his great Yelp reviews I came here. Located in Downtown Hollywood on Harrision St. You would park in the City Garage 2nd floor and walk out to the offices located in the adjacent building. This is very nice as it is seamless to his office from the car without ever walking outside. Please note he is not open weekends however does meet at after hours by appointments. That is when my husband and I met with him as we obviously work during the day. The new tax laws are tough as we unfortunately learned that we could no longer write off our sons as they make over 4K. However Mr. Abrahms did advise on the 2018 taxes so it would be a much smoother year. In doing this we had to adjust our tax forms at work W-4 as my husband was not claiming the correct exemptions therefore he had to take out additional taxes all year so we would be at a break even point with the IRS. Rates are comparable to what is out there but his knowledge and easy to talk to made it a 4 star experience. read more
