Expensive but nothing outlandish basically whole foods prices some portions are a bit smaller but if you're vegan yeah you need to go here at least once. Has all of your processed vegan desires. Tofurky and other brands as well. But you can also find some similar items at places like bio c' bon's or biocoop or Naturalia, if you're not looking specifically for American Brand processed vegan food lol. Nothing "fresh" here just your boxed goods and refrigerated items. Got my spirulina and baobab powders plus hemp seed powder and I was happy to find follow your heart's vegan egg here ahhhhhh this made me oh so happy honestly I could barley find it in NYC (do yourself a favor and try it) so I'll definitely be back for this item. Definitely worth a visit but not in my weekly grocery rotation while I'm here I'll probably go once or twice more if I crave vegan cream cheese or something like that. Stop at a Bio c' Bon first and then decide if you really need to go here I think people seek this store out because it's the easiest thing to come up when you search vegan in Paris lol. That's what happen to me but there are tons of Bio c' Bon's all over (seriously just stop walking google maps it and I assure you, you're within walking distance of one) that's gonna be my go to. Amazing amazing amazing. As a vegan from London I'm quite spoilt for choice, and have always heard France is awful even for vegetarians. However, I did my research before my trip to Paris, and managed to find a lot of cool looking vegan places. When my boyfriend and I visited Un Monde Vegan on Friday, we were shocked at how much stuff is on sale. Really incredible variety of produce which even in London we find it hard to get hold of (Wheaty, all the chocolate, cheese, various other faux meat brands). They even have vegan pain au raisins, and croissants! We bought some sliced cheese (a German brand, I think) which was probably the best vegan cheese i've ever had. You wouldn't know it wasn't real dairy cheese. I wish we'd bought more. They had other brands too (Vegusto, Sheese, Teese, etc). Really amazing shop. Had everything I'd ever need, and more. Lots of my favourite foods (Wheaty Spacebars, Go Max Go chocolate, cheese, Redwood, etc). Can't wait to visit on my next trip to the city. Thanks!!!! read more

If you're vegan, make Un Monde Vegan your very first stop when in Paris. It has all of the goodies "normal" (or as I like to call them, not-yet-vegan) people get to experience in France, except totally cruelty-free. I stocked up on cheeses, faux-gras, and chocolate hazelnut spread, all of which paired beautifully with fresh baguettes and wine throughout my stay. I never once felt deprived while in Paris because I still ate like a queen! Some of my favorite finds: Happy Cheeze, a German cheese company that makes a Camembert-style cheese called "Happy White." WOW, this was the best aged cheese I've had since going vegan. It truly resembles Camembert! I wish I had gone back and bought three more packages to take home with me! I also enjoyed their soft fresh cheese with Herbes de Provence. Jay & Joy is a local company that makes a phenomenal faux-gras called Le Joie Gras. I loved it a lot. I also tried one of their cheeses, Jose, but I preferred Happy Cheeze. There were quite a few Nutella-like spreads, but I settled on Chocolinette made with hazelnuts and cashews. It's one of the best things I have ever had, honest to god. Again, I can't believe I didn't go back and stock up. I think the cashews add a creaminess most vegan Nutellas are lacking. Chocolinette is better than Nutella, I mean it. So come here first, grab everything that looks good, and then come back before you leave to stock up on your favorites before going home or traveling to other parts of France. You'll feel like the luckiest vegan in the world with all of your goodies! read more

Another super tricky review for me. Pros: good location, relatively friendly hipster staff, huge selection of hard-to-find products in a tiny space, lots of things I've yet to find easily elsewhere in Paris - such as kombucha and coconut butter. Vegans who eat mostly processed vegan food will love it here - and that's where my review gets a bit wonky. To me, vegan is about eating things that bring you closer to nature. No harm, no foul, ahymnsa. Yet for whatever reason there are no fresh foods at this store - just packaged goods in tons of plastic that happen to be animal-free. There's something off about this side of the store that rubbed me the wrong way... Like it's for show. Only saw tourists, very chic Parisian's and hipsters in here, no crunchy granola's to be seen. The other bio stores I've been to in the area? (and I've been to quite a few now) Had this element of organic shopping down. Fresh food was the staple, with vegan, bio, gluten-free, sugar-free, you-name-it as an option. Here? It's packaged. All of it. Everything has a label. While I get the reasoning (really, it's lovely to find some of these products), there has to be a balance, and I found it lacking in such an odd way here. read more

My husband discovered the website before our trip to France, and the ability to have items shipped really made our time in the countryside (where vegan options were nearly non-existent) wonderful. We were also able to visit the actual store in Paris and stocked up on what we could bring back in our suitcase. We were disappointed they had run out of "faux gras," but thankful it had been in our delivery. They have such a great selection of products that I would love to see in the US, such as the brand Wheaty. This store is definitely something in France I wish I could have brought with me! read more

This place is amazing! It's like vegan heaven! We visited Paris from the US, and sometimes we struggled to find the good vegetarian food we were used to back home, so my partner and I were excited to check this place out. The selection here is phenomenal; it has an entire wall dedicated to different types of fake meat, which must have 100 different types in all. I've never seen anything like this in the US or any other country that I have been to. We bought lots of good stuff here, and then went to a local grocer for bread, cheese, and wine, and made a phenomenal picnic out of it. You know you want to do the same. :-) read more

4.75 stars Black beans in a can. I could stop my review right there. Finding something as special as that could stop any American living in Paris in their tracks. But there was also refried beans in a can - ahhhhhh! Shout it from the roof tops!!! Now add on possibly the largest fake meat selection in France. They have tofu jerky! Jerky, I say! Plus vegan marshmallows and gummy bears. There was fake shrimp, too! Okay, so I won't likely ever eat a fake shrimp, but they exist if someone else wants to! They don't have as wide a range of products as most other bio/health food shops do. But, that's likely primarily due to focusing only vegan food rather than vegetarian and health foods more broadly. Regardless, what they do have is really amazing. On top of that, you can order food via their website and either pick it up in the store or have it delivered. If you're a vegetarian/vegan living in Paris, this place is a must to add to your monthly shopping list to pick up a freezer full of protein. And, just to repeat: BLACK BEANS IN A CAN. read more

I think this is the biggest selection of vegan cheeses I have seen in my life. On my quick stop here, the staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were great considering it is a specialty grocery store in Paris. They even have vegan cookbooks and other literature. read more
