A court subpoena is a court order and not complying with it (unless they file a motion to quash which they haven't) is illegal at both the Federal and State levels and subject to court sanctions. I know I had close to $3000, but when I called, the recording, stated I had $ 2994 in my account but zero available. HUH? I went inside to ask the new teller i never scene anyways, What is going on? I was polite. She said she did not know, she could not help me, she told me call the US bank 800 number. So I did, multiple calls before someone could help, some barley spoke English. Anyways a tax lean was put on my account, nothing I knew about, from out of State, were I have not been in for 8 years or more. The tax lean emptied my account. No warnings, not information from the bank. I have family to take care if and need to eat, all my money was taken. I went to a different teller, ask to see thr manager, Previous long term employees know me, but these today don't. Anyway the teller who helped said no manager today. So he id manager. He said lean was from.out of state, he told me what state, orginal lady teller who said could not help with any information call the 800 number, walked by. Said yes, lean from out of state and told me what state. Why she couldn't just help the first time than blow me off ? Anyways, found out by calling state contact tax lean department out if state. I owe a tax bill, I knew nothing about, they taken out $2865 and bank charges $100 processing. Got yo br kidding. US bank charged me $100 for a tax bill processing from many years ago, from another state, and by the tax lean department out of state US bank is still holding my money. Can't be legal, to empty my Bank account, no warnings, and no money to live on Anyways, poor Bank Service.. On the tax lean multiple calls out of state dome court clearks rude, say come to the out of State court house, file papers to complain. Huh? All my money stolen from me. Bank is holding on to it, no warnings. No legal. Called out of state courts, given many numbers, left messages, all said US bank holding my money. Hours of reaching out, after 8 calls to US bank, one cleark said call US Bank legal department, she would not give me the number, Huh?? But she transferred me, the recording said closed until Monday. Not right. Or legal. I made arrangements to make payments for an out of state tax bill i knew nothing about, I have no choice. Talked to a number of lawyers go after the system and the bank, its wrong, but all want a retainer. Found out orginaly tax bill qaa $1900, hard but I could pay that but now its over $4000, what a scam, I knew nothing of this. If US bank told me there was a legal department to call from the start, I may have received help, but not told this for hours and many calls, by that time they were closed. Wanted me to go to the Sheriffs Dept, which I did and they basically said there was nothing they could do. I finally got the monies back in my account but that much money is a lot to worry about. It did get back into my account by a guy that worked for golden 1but wasn't a regular employee there (the one in Placerville off Missouri Flat)...He knew exactly what to do!
