The rate is the best I could find in paris (and much better than my bank in new york). The gentleman behind the window is very nice (i assume he's the owner). Always very polite and professional. Honestly this is the nicest exchange i've ever been to. It's a block from gare de nord-- easy to get to and very worth it if you have a large amount of currency to exchange. Each time i've gone there's a few parisians in line -- so my vibe is that locals also know this is a great place.

I live in the 17th so it's not as if it's too far to go to the Champs where there are dozens of places who want to take my American currency, but I figured I couldn't do better than what my local bank recommended.
