On Friday August 1st I called Village Pack and Ship. I was moving my daughter from my home 8.9…read moremiles to the Villages. We were quoted a price of $450.00. We set the date of August 4th for the move at 9am. I advised Joe that the furniture was downstairs. There was a bed, a dresser, and 2 nightstands and various bags. The 2 man crew showed up as scheduled. Than I get a call from Joe. He says you advised the stuff was downstairs but I did not think we had to bring it upstairs (dah). Do to the situation I would have to increase the price to 550.00. I said what about the price quoted. He had no logical answer and it was $550.00 I said than you should have looked at the job. He said I do not come out for a small job.(450.00 to me is not small for a 8.9 mile move and amount of furniture involved.) NeedlesslyI DO NOT PLAY BAIT AND SWITCH. They were asked to leave.
