Update to original review- I received communication from salon's manager and discussed situation…read more Was asked if I asked the difference in pricing between two inspo pictures. I did ask and was told there was no difference in pricing. Which is why I obviously chose the service. She promised a phone call after a meeting. Unfortunately there was a personal emergency with a staff member and the phone call didn't happen. The stylist did call me and offer a credit to my account. Which I was not what I asked for because I did ask before services were rendered because of price difference. I feel that a cut/color with a short pixie should not cost $250. Way over budget than the original quote. I asked to speak to you Tina, but was never given that opportunity. What also stands out to me is the other reviews of customers with much longer hair and color services paying way less than what I paid for. This was definitely a one and done experience. Next time, please communicate better and with precise details. Nobody should ever have to feel the way I have.

She listened to me about what I was looking for and got to work. I was amazed when she was finished. I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe I could look so good. Not only that but Nikki made me feel very relaxed. She was very caring, pleasant to talk to and made it fun. I highly recommend Nikki if you want to look your best for any occasion

While this place doesn't have much in the way of curb appeal, the inside is actually decorated quite nicely. The first time I visited, I told the stylist what I was going for and she made a lot of helpful suggestions. I get a combo of highlights and lowlights which results in a pretty, dimensional and natural looking color. It is so much better than my natural, dishwater blond color, but not so far off from it that I have crazy roots coming in either. The price is moderate, but I have definitely paid more for the same services at other salons. I always go to Michelle, but the other stylists also seem experienced and very friendly. Although I have not tried their other services, they also do nails and I'm told they do some waxing as well. If you are looking for a new stylist, definitely give this place a try!

I was apprehensive about trying a new place; and let's be honest it's not a high-end salon, but I kept expectations in perspective... its a $25 cut... "what's the worst that could happen...I only need a trim." FYI, I have tried a few high-end, popular Mt Lebo / South Hills Salons. When I walked in the door the first stylist looked at me and asked if I had an appointment to which I responded yes and then she looked back down to her client and never said another word.... ok then... I didn't know what to do with that... do I wait? is she the one who's going to cut my hair? is somebody else going to cut my hair? So, I sat down and waited about 10 minutes when another woman came from the back room to greet me; asked me if I had an appointment (again) but was very kind and assured me that somebody was finishing up with another client and I would be next It was late afternoon on a Friday so I was a little impatient. Had I not been addressed by the second person I probably would've just left Thank goodness I did not let my mood get the best of me; so glad I had an opportunity to meet Nikki From the moment I sat in her chair she immediately started looking at all the angles of my hair and made a comment about what she saw and wanted to know if I thought the same thing ... for the entire appointment she asked a lot of questions and explained why my answers were important to her construction of a long-term plan. When somebody is passionate about their craft, it shows and she was the epitome of professional but more than that she was so completely dedicated to my comfort and my satisfaction. I had a preconceived idea about cost cutters. and if you do too, make an appointment with Nikki.... You will not be disappointed.
