I wouldn't consider this a thrifting store in the terms of what thrifting means today. When you think thrift you think consignment/resale/saving the landfill/vintage finds. We walked right in and out of this store. It's more like a section that feels like a rummage sale very small area (and that would be the "thrift" section) and the rest of the store is more like a bargain store. New in the box items at low value. Like items were purchased in bulk from pallets or via some other option. Which that's fine but it's not a proper advertising to put this in the same category as all the other thrift stores. Since the expectation was thrift and not bargain buys (hobo, big lots, family dollar) the rating is based on the category of that makes sense. Now if it was noted as a standard store or bargain/discount space I'd add one star based on what I saw. Walking into this place is like walking into your grandma's house thats soo cluttered with things everywhere and is completely disorganized. I love to thrift but when every shelf and surface is overflowing with things, mostly thrown onto it with no type of order or grouping, I can easily get over stimulated. Prices are ridiculous on busted used items and some of them they are trying to sell for almost new prices and even some at more then new prices and the knick knacks they have some are busted and they're still trying to sell them for outrageous prices I go in there maybe once or twice a year just to see what they have but I never find nothing and if I did I wouldn't pay the price they want I'll go next door to st vincent de paul they're more reasonable. Plus the old man there is rude you ask him if he can go cheaper and he will say no I can't rudely plus it's not his call to make his son sets the prices and if you don't want it don't buy it go some where else. I not wasting my time with them no more. I wouldn't give them a one star rating but you have to mark one of them for the review. read more

Great store, Friendly employees. Will be back again as they have a great variety to choose from. And the prices are hard to beat.

It was OK. Nice selection of clothes and other things if I was in the area, I would stop by again, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Been coming a few days a week because they have interesting stuff sometimes and I find a gem. Last time there I brought my 2 boys (3 and 5yrs old) they like to check out the toy area. A husky older female employee storms over and says "I GUESS ILL PICK EVERYTHING UP AGAIN!" and proceeds to stuff the few toys on the ground back on the shelves. We were still looking and always pick up the toys reasonably prior to moving on. I agree with others that the owner and this older women ruin the experience! Stopped here not looking for anything specific but found a lot more than I expected to find! There was a lot of different things for sale. There was a clothing sections with lots of good items, a back area with bigger items like bikes, tvs, dressers and more, then in the main area of the store on the other half (from the clothing) was CDS and such. It was a super cool thrift store and I will DEFINIFELY be back!! A must for anyone looking for a good, well rounded thrift store. read more

Nice store, very clean, well air conditioned, and friendly employees. However, if you strive to donate to places that support a charity or some cause, you won't find that here. This is a for-profit private shop and their inventory comes from estate sale leftovers and the like. read more

Walked in the back of the shop. I got scrolled from some young punk who was mad that I had innocently walked into any area that was not open to the public. I told him the same should've been in the cross walk so people wouldn't walk through and he got lippy with me. I will never spend a dime in the store again their merchandise is worse than what you see at seven Mile fair these days. read more

Stopped in with our service dog this morning. Owner said dogs are not allowed. Told him it is a service dog. Tried to educate owner on ADA guidelines. Instead, was told to leave store or police would be called. We left and waited for police who educated owner. Very rude, and embarrassing incident. Won't be back! read more

I have been to Ultimate Thrift on several occasions. While some of their seasonal stuff is priced decent, the quality tends not to be. Things are strewn all over the store. Most of their food items are expired! And It's up to you to go plug everything in to make sure it works, or ask for batteries to check your items. They WILL NOT take anything back that doesn't work. The loud women in there makes a big stink when you try to return items so be careful! I tried plugging in SEVERAL items and NONE of them worked. It's a huge mess but sometimes you can find some good buys. read more

My mom and I loved coming to this store and we'd take hours to fill our carts. The prices are good, but the entire place Is a rmess. My mom set a few things down, and all of a sudden this old guy comes and says "what?!?! Are you just gonna leave the damn stuff any old place?," (and this old guy is either an employed or the owner) . So we both pushed our carts closer to you and said "you just missed a $300" sale. Then the Lady at the front checkout - was saying the same thing. EVEN THOUGH WE'VE BEEN COMING TO THIS STORE PRACTICALLY 1-2 days a week. Also BE CAREFUL OF BUYING ANYTHING ELECTRONIC - 90% of stuff was falling apart, broke, or did not work at ALL. read more

Overall I was impressed with the store. However, be careful when purchasing vinyl records that are sealed. I paid more than I should've for a box that was missing the booklet and the records were only in VG condition. The gentleman behind the counter and I thought this was an original sealed box SET, but it was my fault that I did not notice the thrift store price tag was under the seal. read more
