Wow! So much to see! If you are like me and want to see everything maybe you are on the hunt for something specific or maybe just waiting to see what calls to you - give yourself at least two hours to explore!! I only made it through two floors and there are four! Some items are for sure pricey and others much more in budget - it's an assortment of finds and all different eras. This place is huge! For parking you'll have to find street parking but there's nothing else really near it so there isn't any problem finding parking. The building is 4 stories with mainly furniture on the top floor, the 3rd floor has a variety of things including Asian focused antique. The 2nd floor has lots of speakers and again a variety and the first floor has a lot of jewelry and a variety of booths. You could spend hours here. The selection is huge and each booth will have a variety of prices. Highly recommend adding this to your antique shopping spot. read more

Love this place! They have an amazing selection of antiques spread across three floors, with plans to add a fourth. It feels like this place never ends! Definitely go when you have a lot of time, you're going to need it. There's also a nice variety of vintage clothing and a lot of unique jewelry. I had no idea this place existed but it fed my old soul. I found a flyer at a different store in the area and off we went. Four floors of collectibles, vintage items, and antiques. This spot reminded me of the amazing antique barns and warehouses in the south. It became a bit overwhelming with how some areas were organized but that's all part of the fun! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when a locked case needed to be opened to view the many treasures. I didn't buy anything (I had to convince myself I didn't need an Indiana Jones style life sized statue or mid century modern magazine rack) but I'll be back when I am looking for something specific. Plan on spending over 2 hours here. And that's if you're just skimming. Antiques On Pierce is GIANT! There are 3 GIANT floors! The downside is when you want to see something in a locked case... I started taking photos on my phone and then asking the person to come unlock. There's usually one person per floor, so sadly they can't be gone for multiple case browsing. That part is a bummer because I was really looking forward to browsing some of their jewelry vendors. With over 100 vendors, they don't offer specials or discounts... however, the check out gals are able to offer 10% off on prices between $30-$100. Anything over $100, you're able to name your price and they'll consider it. I asked for a better price on 2 pieces and was NOT granted that on either:( There are bathrooms on the 1st and 3rd floor. We found this place on Yelp and decided to stop by. First make sure you have time I think this place had 3 stories. I really like that they had a table with a soda vending machine and they sold snacks. My son and I hung out there for a little while. Antiques on Pierce has to be one of the most unique thrift shops in Milwaukee! Tons of selection, nice staff, and EPIC layout (comes off as more of a vintage warehouse rather than vintage shop) - 1st floor was mainly jewelry with other antique goods, 2nd floor vintage clothes, and 3rd floor was the holy grail of furniture with a gigantic section dedicated to authentic Asian furniture! Come to this place when you've got time and want to explore. Easy parking and scores of vendors round out the pluses. This mall has dozens of stalls on the first two floors, with mostly Asian imports on the third. I rarely come here without finding something to explore and making a purchase. Like many similar malls, the merchandise is quite uneven in quality. I do find that you've got to be pretty committed to making a purchase. What I want is often locked in a case. Some staff are helpful, while others are truly put out by being asked a question. Yesterday one refused to bring out a small tray of inexpensive jewelry because there was "too much piled on it." She asked that I specify a single piece I wanted to see, a task made impossible because there was too much piled on it. 20 minutes later I purchased something from a different staffer in a similarly packed case. What an incredible antique store! With multiple floors and seemingly endless stalls of antiques, you are sure to find some treasures here. I have often visited with a specific idea of what I needed, like cake stands or picture frames, and have never been disappointed. Often, I find much more than I came for too, so watch out for that! If you are on the lookout for specific items, do give each floor a chance. Recently we came looking for an entryway table that had to be specific dimensions and were able to find something perfect in the furthest corner on the last floor. It does take patience and can be overwhelming, but is always fun when you have nothing in particular in mind. And can't forget to mention that everyone that works there has always been really helpful. They also have a nice system that involves clothespins to keep the items you want set aside while you continue looking. read more

This place had everything you could ever need! Everything was priced well! And all the workers were nice! I will definitely be returning!

I'm writing this review as someone that's been a customer, potential client of their hall rental, and a dealer. In 2018 I reached out to see if we could rent their fourth floor for our wedding. This is a finished space that I they'd had weddings at in the past. The only answer I got was "well, we can but it's a lot of work for us" and to send an email. Isn't their work what we'd be paying for? I told them I was very interested but never got any sort of followup from that email. I chalked the hall experience up to a one off, since I'd always had fun shopping at the mall in the past, and decided to open a booth. I sold here for about a year and a half. It was profitable, because they're the biggest antique shop in the area and foot traffic was great. If you want to, you can work at the mall for rent credit (which is only $8 an hour). Rent for me was $270 a month for a 14x7 space, plus 10% consignment and credit card fees. I'm finding out that's pretty high, but I really had nothing else to compare it to. I also had a lot of problems with things going missing, either due to theft, breakage, or items being credited to the wrong dealer account. They're supposed to monitor for people with large bags, I rarely saw that happen when I was in and despite several promises to put up cameras nothing happened. And nothing at all was promised about ensuring future items would be correctly credited. In December, the building was even hit by a late night breakin. I stuck around though, because it was decent money regardless. Then in February there were several protests around the Black Americana items sold in booth 87 (these are things ranging from mammy cookie jars to old advertising items with the n-word on it). I and several other dealers were incredibly disappointed around the way the mall ownership reacted (deleting customer comments, refusing interviews, ignoring letters from both myself and others). The items eventually sold to a single collector and still the mall didn't make a statement. A few other reviews came to light in which mall employees went out of their way to direct Black customers to the items in question. I decided to pull out. Since then they've continued to delete comments and one star Google reviews, and blocked me on Instagram. The items were bad enough, but the response was what really did it for me. If you want to shop for vintage that doesn't sell that sort of garbage, check out BC Modern, Farm Girl Antiques, Midcentury Meow, Goodland Antiques, Dandy, Fox Lake Country Antiques, School Days, or hit up 414Flea. There's nothing like spending a dreary day wandering an antique mall. When I get a hankering to "junque" I often head to this mall. I've found treasures, sifted through junk, and enjoyed browsing everything from books to furniture, vintage linens to knickknacks. Seriously, I need to stop collecting linens. LOL You never know what you'll find. I wish some of the booths were more 'edited' for true vintage and antiques, but hey- luck of the draw when every booth is a different owner. I could've spent an entire day going through all the booths and genuinely couldn't believe it when I got through the first floor and realized there was a second floor... and a third floor! If you aren't aware, Antiques on Pierce is the reincarnation of the glorious Antiques on Second. The new location is a bit tucked away on Pierce just off 16th St - its an old industrial area but they've got a good sized lot to the side if you can't find a street space. FYI - don't park in the lots across the street, you'll be ticketed. Anyway, the new building spans 2 giant floors and seems to have a better "flow" than the old building. If you frequented AOS, you'll doubtless recognize many of the former dealers who have made the move. The new floor plans are open and bright and they've got plenty of room to expand. Right now, it looks like people are still moving in/adding stuff but there is a ton to see. Since dealers are always adding and changing their offerings, you never know what you'll find but I'm guessing most everyone will find a treasure or two. I ht the jackpot today with some super sweet vintage Christmas ornaments, a light up ceramic Christmas tree and a vintage advertising poster. The location may be new, but the staff is still friendly and knowledgeable, there's an incredible amount of stuff to explore and the prices are pretty decent. If you're planning on going to Antiques on Pierce, carve out a whole afternoon or even a day- you're going to need that much time to explore! They put the jewelry right in front and although it's easy to get distracted by the bright, shiny, and beautiful things, peel yourself away, you won't be disappointed- well actually that's not true, you might be disappointed, but that's just how antique/vintage/thrift shopping goes. Anyway, someone (staff) will probably find you and give you a clothespin with a number on it if they see you have something in your hands and you'll want to give them your stuff to hold on to, don't worry they'll keep it safe for you to go through until you're ready to check out. One of my favorite places on earth! I do so much of my gift shopping here, it's a little ridiculous. This place is huge and you can spend hours here if you have the stamina. It's also possible to pop in for a quick browse, since there's just so much good stuff. You don't have to delve very deeply to get hooked on something that will tickle your fancy. Like any antique mall, prices are up to the vendors. Usually things are very reasonable and competitively priced. Only once or twice have I walked away from an item that I would have otherwise bought if it weren't too rich for my blood. Their shopkeepers are really nice folks, and I highly recommend making use of their suggestion to let them hold onto stuff behind the counter for you while you shop. Your arms won't get tired, and you will know your purchase is secure. They have a system! Parking is easy. This place is never empty, but it's never too crowded to comfortably shop, either. OK, so this place is not only dazzling in its HUGE array of cool items but it also boasts some really kind employees. Everyone we met was friendly and even went to the extra trouble to gift wrap our presents. Now, the bonus that puts this place WAY over the top is the 3rd floor. Art Asia has taken over the space and turned a warehouse loft with a hefty climb into a dreamland trip to a purchasable museum of coolness. i wanted to love this place more than i did. the staff is typically very friendly, however i was appalled to see extremely racist jim crow era figurines and artwork displayed in some of the cases. this is an antique store, however it does strike me as inappropriate to still sell items like these in 2021. additionally, there is virtually no organization of items, making your shopping experience much more difficult if you're looking for something specific. clothing seems to be arbitrarily priced and too expensive. covid-specific information*** the mask policy is not enforced. while most patrons i saw were wearing masks, some were not and weren't asked to put one on. some employees at the counter were also not wearing masks, and there is no plexiglass or barrier between them and the customers. read more

I come here about every 2(ish) weeks. Antiquing is very therapeutic. I like Antiques on Pierce because the organization makes sense. All of the big pieces are on the 3rd floor and they typically get smaller and smaller as you go down each floor. Prices vary, but I would say items usually seem steep unless they have been there some time. I'm glad they have price decreases based on how long they have been there -- that makes my wallet happy. They have a parking lot next to the store. Employees are always nice and are always willing to take your items downstairs. Don't forget to grab a number when you walk in! read more

My wife and i love to visit antique stores. We live in central wisconsin and have many within a few hours drive. The antique store in columbus is big, antiques on pierce is very close in size. We have visited both numerous times and for OUR money antiques on pierce wins hands down! Your purchases are even brought to the checkout area while you continue to shop! Most stores will negotiate, on prices but you must remember that these shops are selling things for many vendors who set their own prices. You will not be disappointed and they have elevators for people and for large purchases! You can't beat them! read more

Chocked full of oldies but goodies!! Currently, this is the best "Antique Mall" in the 414. Nothing else even compares. Three floors of treasures! This place has it all: Costume jewelry, mid-century furniture, vintage clothing, books, vinyl, glassware, and every imaginable type of brick-a-brack you can think of. In general, there is very little junk. This place carries on the tradition of 2nd St. Antiques which moved here when they were pushed out of their old building a few years ago. This location if much nicer. There is a ton more space, light, and much more room for expansion. Artasia has now taken over most of the third floor, typically reserved for consignment items. I have no idea what museum in China most of this came from, but WOW. It's worth a trip just to see this stuff. Maybe you are building a truly vintage Buddhist temple in your suburban home? Well, now you know where to get that 6 foot tall bronze Buddha or hand carved 8 foot tall pillars. How about a 160 year old Chinese oxcart? You can currently find it here (many thousands of dollars, of course). How about several hundred vintage wood carved figurines? They have more than Shiva herself can shake sticks at.
