Brittney and Laura were in regular contact with me throughout a difficult initial placement and worked on my behalf to quickly resolve the issue, reassigning me under a different senior manager within the same company. The support, professionalism, and diplomacy of the Insight Global representatives during a difficult situation was invaluable. As an active duty military spouse, I am accustomed to moving frequently and reinventing myself to match my skill set with the needs of the local area. I often partner with an employment agency to assist with job placement. Among the many different locations we have lived in and the different agencies I have contracted with, I find Insight Global Minneapolis to be the best at the service they provide.

Truth be told, I was not only initially reluctant to take a contract job but also skeptical to work with a company that was new to the Minneapolis\St Paul area. However, my gamble to "try something new" proved to be a success. The culture of Insight Global is very pleasant; the staff is friendly and they seem to genuinely care about not only their contractors but their clients as well. The contractor benefits are the same provided to actual Insight Global employees and the pay is very competitive. Assuming I continue contract type work, I will definitely make Insight Global my preferred staffing firm. Cons: No paid time off accrual and an initial wait for benefits. Both of which seem standard for those doing contract type work.

I followed their protocol for filling out time sheets and was paid appropriately. I received a bonus after 500 hours worked and would have received more benefits after 1000 hours worked if the assignment had not offered me a full-time position. I worked a total of two assignments with this agency and would highly recommend them. They were flexible and willing to understand if you turn down an assignment. Important note: Be flexible! My long term assignment was offered to me on 14 hours notice based on another temp employee quitting. Six months later, I was offered a full-time benefit earning position!

After the interview and testing had been completed Wendy pulled me into her office to go over what I was looking for as far as a career went. After having some time off and being bored out of my ever loving mind, I decided to look up temp agencies to do something until school starts. Some of the other temp agencies I encountered were terrible. No follow through, call back, blase attitudes etc.. Thankfully I found Jean Thorne. This staffing agency is truly a class act. Being out of the process of having to look for jobs I wasn't sure how they worked. I spoke with Leslie who was incredibly helpful and insightful explaining the process. She scheduled an interview for me and I had an appointment within a few days. I met with Barb who is exceptional at follow through. Such a pleasure to deal with and nice to talk to. She really made things happen quickly and explained everything thoroughly and with detail. There was a lovely woman (who I think was the owner) on the first floor of the building in the bathroom lobby. Little did I know that we were going to the same place. I saw her in the office bringing out fresh flowers. She acknowledged me and said, " I think we met earlier". I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something temporary or something permanent. They stand out because they followed through. Took the time to explain every detail and weren't bothered when I called to inquire about their business. I wasn't met with an icy put off attitude like so many other places. Staff is warm and friendly at this location. I have nothing but admiration and praise for the staff and their resources. Thank you!!

The employer and peopleready were clueless as to why this happened. In fact, they offered to put me back on the job ticket. That was totally irresponsible. Macy's had promoted an emotionally stunted teen to'manage' the temps. When I showed up to work, I saw this individual ducking me like crazy. Likely because she had dismissed me from the assignment for reasons which only exist in her head . The next day the out of control Peopleready app kicked me off the job ticket once again. Contacting Peopleready I got the canned response 'you're not a good fit for the employer.' To make matters worse, the Peopleready manager denied my story and refused to pay me for the last day of employment. Do yourself a favor and find a better job anywhere else please.

I would definitely recommend reaching out to SNI if looking for a new job opportunity. Everyone I dealt with was great.
