I worked a total of two assignments with this agency and would highly recommend them. They were flexible and willing to understand if you turn down an assignment. Important note: Be flexible! My long term assignment was offered to me on 14 hours notice based on another temp employee quitting. Six months later, I was offered a full-time benefit earning position!

I'm giving 3 stars as a cross between 5 for an excellent experience with the Mpls office 5 years…read moreago and an absolutely horrible experience in another TC location just recently. I've been a professional working with temp agencies for years. Everything is fast-paced and I'm more than happy to accommodate miscommunications that happen and items that do not quite get followed through on. The priority is the client...the employer...to ensure that their needs are met. In my attempt to make the best of a miss managed situation, the aftermath I can only describe the volley of verbiage from the office as gaslighting and being blacklisted by the office in a climate where my skills are in high demand. Eventually I attempted another contact with the office and was met by more gaslighting from another associate who attempted to school me on professional protocol related to the prior "misunderstanding." Umm, I'm pretty familiar with the protocol, thank you very much...what I am not familiar with is being asked to do something, then doing it, then being scolded by the recruiter the very next day for following her instructions...she seemed to have no recollection of giving previous day's instructions. I was prepared to simply chalk this up as a misunderstanding until I was told I was hearing things that were not said. How does one even begin to respond to passive aggression in that syrupy sweet professional tone? I'm fine. I'm even happy I didn't get pulled into that pejorative mess, because I accepted an offer elsewhere which pays double and matches my skills rather than undermines them.

Some of the other temp agencies I encountered were terrible. No follow through, call back, blase attitudes etc.. Thankfully I found Jean Thorne. This staffing agency is truly a class act. Being out of the process of having to look for jobs I wasn't sure how they worked. I spoke with Leslie who was incredibly helpful and insightful explaining the process. She scheduled an interview for me and I had an appointment within a few days. I met with Barb who is exceptional at follow through. Such a pleasure to deal with and nice to talk to. She really made things happen quickly and explained everything thoroughly and with detail. There was a lovely woman (who I think was the owner) on the first floor of the building in the bathroom lobby. Little did I know that we were going to the same place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something temporary or something permanent. They stand out because they followed through.
