I love Ultimate Ninjas! It's my favorite place ever! Coach Gabe is the best because he helps me when things feel a little tricky, like the monkey bars. Sometimes I feel like I can't make it all the way across, but he shows me how to swing and tells me not to give up--and then I do it! That makes me feel super strong and proud. My most favorite thing is the warped wall because it makes me feel like a real ninja! I run as fast as I can and try to get all the way up. Even if I don't make it every time, it's still really fun to try again and again. I also like all the obstacles because they're like a big adventure playground. I get to climb, swing, jump, and pretend I'm on a ninja show. Everyone cheers each other on, and it makes me really happy. I always have so much fun and can't wait to go back! I was invited here for a party and to my surprise such a place was located in Chicago. Plenty of free parking and once you sign a waiver you are able to climb, jump and play like you are a ninja. There are two divided sections, first section you learn the simple obstacles like climbing and hanging. The second section has the wall you can run on and more complex items. There is always someone who works there to show you how each section is used. There are smaller rooms for parties where they order pizza to enjoy after all the events. Overall, I enjoyed myself and now first hand, I can say I am no ninja. read more

PARENTS BEWARE: They don't have a refund policy! This place is great in theory, but terrible in execution. My 4 yo son took a free intro class here and had a good time with MJ's guidance, so I signed him up for a monthly membership. During his first class, he didn't receive any instruction on what to do and was just rushed and yelled at to complete the obstacles with the other kids. He didn't really participate that day and he didn't want to go back. When I canceled the membership, they charged me a $30 cancelation fee and didn't refund me for the month because 'they don't have a refund policy'. They did credit my account with that value, but that's useless since we won't ever be returning here. read more

Limited seating for parents (9 seats for the entire place) while they wait 45mins to get into party room. Kids are busy enjoying while parents who have worked all week, have to stand and wait. If you have lots of parents or even have a desire to engage with your guests without being moved along the party assembly line, choose elsewhere (like a place where having the party room the duration of your party). This has been an amazing outlet for my kids (ages 5 and 7) to burn energy, challenge themselves and get stronger. It's a fun, energetic and positive environment. I cannot speak highly enough of Coach Kurt - he is fun, playful, high energy and supportive of the kids. He finds a good balance of coaching, child management and fun. We absolutely love Windy City Ninjas for our 6-year-old. One time our child was injured and they took it very seriously, about 50x more seriously than I was taking his injury. (small cut under his eye.) Anyhow, the staff here is both enthusiastic and wonderful, it is a great place for our kiddo. When we would bring him by during covid-19, they checked his temperature, mask checks, etc. We enjoy brining our child here as he burns off energy and has a great time! Highly recommended! read more

My immediate goals are to get up on the 14.5ft warped wall and do at least one rung on the salmon ladder! This gym is kind of far for me and also the starting time of adult open hours at 6:30PM is hard to make but look forward to coming back again and see what new obstacles they've added. read more

We just had my daughter's 7th birthday party here. She loved it and we all loved the experience. It was nice that we had the whole gym to ourselves for the party, she had 20 kids and they were all guided through the different obstacles by the instructors. Some of the kids were hesitant at first. One of her 5-year-old friends fell on an obstacle and immediately started crying. The coach saw that and walked with her and encouraged her all through the obstacles until she felt confident enough joining the other kids. So yes, the instructors were great. The party in the party room was easy and just well-timed. There was one of the instructors in there with us the whole time who took care of all the serving of drinks/snacks, and clean up. Everyone had a great time. We'd definitely do this again. read more

The space is great but the staff seems to be phoning it in when it comes to engaging with the kids. There's no attempt to guide the kids to ability-appropriate activities, and only occasional one on one coaching. Some of the staff seem more interested in using the obstacles themselves rather than helping the kids, and one spent most of the time literally laying down or on his cell phone. And while I love hip hop as much as anyone, Eminem and Jay-Z probably aren't the most appropriate choice for the 4-6 year old age group. I will say that there are probably two guys there who are actually working to engage the kids (Elliot is really great) which is why I'm giving two stars rather than 1. read more

I signed my 3 year old daughter up for a class through Pearachute. For the 3 year olds, a parent (myself) was required to participate with her. The most important thing is always safety and in that regard they excelled. The apparatuses looked well maintained with considerable padding underneath. My issue was really the structure of the class. With the exception of warm-ups and the warped wall which the trainer was involved in, they were pretty disconnected. They basically brought the kids to a section, pointed out the activity and essentially walked away. They really did not do much to encourage or guide the children. Given the parents were there but there could have been quite a bit more leadership. I would likely go back because my daughter did have fun but it could have been better. read more

We brought our High School Tumble Into Leadership program of approximately 80 teens to WCN. Tom the owner was very personable, helpful and insightful while preparing us for the time. More importantly, his staff was incredible. They insured that everyone had fun and encouraged them through the challenging obstacles. Because of this both the most athletic and least athletic teens felt challenged and enjoyed a great sense of accomplishment. To top it off -- our coaching staff jumped in and we had an amazing time too. Highly recommend and will definitely return! read more

This place is amazing. If you are a fan of ANW tv show, them this is your place. So much fun and so challenging. I've been working out at a standard gym for 1-1/2 years, and that did not prepare me enough for this workout. I'm looking forward to adding this gym to my regular workout schedule. It will expose areas you need to improve (core) but show you that you are able to do awesome things too... I'm proud to say I made it up both the 8 & 10 foot warp walls!! I will not be returning. I spoke to owner over the phone and he gave me instructions to go online and sign my kids up for camp - $65 for a half day - super expensive. I figured I'd let my kids go and try it since they had been for a couple parties and liked it. When I arrived my kids weren't on the list and I had to re-sign up - which took forever because the employee at the desk was busy eating fries and answering another call while I was standing there. As first time campers we weren't told to bring anything for the 3 hour camp (the owner never mentioned a thing). So when the employee asked if we brought a water bottle and snack I was a bit surprised and angry that my kids wouldn't have what they needed. To their credit, the employee said they had extra snacks and could give my kids what they had onsite. Camp was supposed to start at 1PM and I was still there signing up at 1:15 and the other kids were still waiting for the other coach to show up. For $65 I'd expect them to use the entire time allotted. When I came to pick my kids up, my daughter had three bandages on her leg, she said she was jumping up on a wooden block and fell. Accidents happen and my kid is pretty tough but that block looked very high for a 6 yr old to jump on. Then when she started telling me what happened, the coach said - "you are only telling your mom the bad stuff, didn't you have fun?" I couldn't believe she didn't take the time to apologize for the accident and fill me in on incident. When we got home I realized it was huge gash from falling into the edge of the wooden block and she still has a large scar. I really don't feel the staff was properly trained and felt to me this was just a job they really didn't care about and could care less about the kids. read more

Can't say enough good things. We have participated in weekly classes, half-day summer camp, and we hosted a fund raising party for our school here. The camp starts at nine and my 11 year old niece and 5 year old daughter wake up at 6 and start bugging me to leave. They love it. It keeps them busy, challenges them and really helped my five year old to gain confidence and courage to try new things. The staff are friendly, good with kids. Can't recommend enough. read more

My 7 year old's birthday was the best it could possibly be. Everything about this experience was terrific. From the ordering online, to the amazing staff, my son's birthday was great. The coaches did a terrific job engaging the kids (all 25! of them) and making sure they were safe and having fun. The party room was clean and set up and everything was wonderfully taken care of by Shannon and the staff. I didn't have to lift a finger, and the parents of our guests have been emailing and texting me non-stop about how much fun their kids had. This is a wonderful party for a 6-8 year old. We just visited with our scout troop and it was incredible. The staff could not have been better they helped our boys learn how to use the obstacles/ jumping spider/ropes with swings/and work wall. The ramps/climbing walls were such a great workout for them. This was definitely one of the best outings of the year. Thanks to the staff and owners for a great time we look forward to going back. One of the great advantages to other Ninja places is that they have a parking lot and is easily accessible. It is large over 10,000 square feet and so clean!!! read more

We hosted our son's 5th birthday party here. We had the space to ourselves and there was plenty room for 20 kids (and their parents) to run around and play. The party started out with a few warm ups for the kids, led by the instructors. Then some small obstacles. After that, it was open play. Although my son and his friends may not have been big enough for all the equipment, the instructors were there to help them work through the obstacles and also gave them encouragement. The staff then helped us set up the party room. They served the food and cake to the kids and cleaned up the space afterwards. My son and his friends (and some of the parents) had fun trying out the obstacles. Overall, it was a great party. We plan to sign our son up for classes here since he really liked the place. read more

We just had our son's birthday party there and they kept 20 second graders busy and happy for an hour and a half. And they help with absolutely everything! Took a 4 year old there for a trial class. It was terrible. Started with the bad attitude at the front desk. There were two coaches for the eight kids in class (a very good ratio), but it was about 15 minutes into class before either of the coaches seemed to engage even in the slightest with my kid. There was no coaching or even a basic level of interest in the kids. I can't even give the coaches the benefit of the doubt and say they were hungover. They just looked bored and disinterested. My child even walked off the course, through a gate, up the stairs and into a viewing area to let me know he was bored without anyone (except me) noticing. He actually walked away once before that, but I guess he couldn't see where I was, so he wandered back to the obstacles on his own. Towards the end of class, one of the coaches from the older students came over and helped him negotiate an obstacle. read more
